Our challenge
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, particularly in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and credit card testing. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications, specifically focusing on payment processing systems.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $80k - $90k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and UAT testing.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Perform credit card testing to validate payment processing functionalities, including transaction processing, refunds, and error handling.
Conduct UAT sessions with end-users to validate system functionality and gather feedback for improvements.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools; ensure timely resolution of issues.
Review and analyze system specifications and requirements to develop effective testing strategies.
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and outcomes.
Maintain documentation of test results and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA methodologies and technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing, with a focus on UAT and credit card testing.
Strong understanding of payment processing systems and credit card transaction flows.
Proficient in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills Qualifications:
5 years of Handson experience in Java based automation using Selenium WebDriver including BDD and hybrid frameworks

Experience developing automation frameworks focused on UI API and regression testing including CICD integration
In depth knowledge of application debugging test data management and version control best practices
Solid grasp of Agile Scrum Kanban development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:

The U.S. FCRM Monitoring & Testing Team is responsible for maintaining a dynamic, risk-based, 2LoD testing process designed to periodically review the design and operating effectiveness of key processes and controls and assess compliance with relevant key laws, rules, and regulations. The Testing Team staff are objective and separate from FCRM Program execution activities and responsible for an Annual Test Plan comprised of mandatory and risk-based testing of financial crime risks owned by the first and second lines of defense.

**Job Description Summary:**
The Senior FCRM Testing Analyst executes independent testing of FCRM controls / systems for assigned businesses, and operational units across the Bank to evaluate the effectiveness of these controls in covering associated risk.
This role is capable of independently executing and having responsibility for various activities (e.g., test plan development, executing test steps) throughout the testing lifecycle within agreed timelines.
**Depth & Scope:**
