JOB SUMMARY: This position inspects all fabrication and construction work to ensure it is performed in accordance with project plans and specifications and complies in all respects with standards and methods set out in the project Quality Plan and with client requirements and specifications. The inspector conducts quality assurance surveillance on materials and services provided by vendors, fabrication facilities, and/or subcontractors. Communication with the Project Quality Control Manager or Lead will be required.ager on a daily basis will be required. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: * AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certificate required. * 5 years preferred, minimum 2 years of QC Inspection pipeline project experience required. * Experience with welding/inspecting all diameters of carbon steel and alloy material (S/S, Duplex, Inconel lined, etc.) pipe joints and associated non-destructive weld testing procedures required in accordance with client specifications. * Preferred NACE Coating Inspector certification and related experience in application and inspection of shop and field-applied coating systems preferred. * Knowledge of the function and operating parameters of coating test equipment. * Construction field experience in the Arctic pipeline industry. * Government, Oil and Gas industry experience.
