About the role:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting sheet metal parts, welded assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, welding standards, and customer requirements. This role supports the manufacturing team by identifying nonconformities, ensuring corrective actions, and maintaining product quality throughout fabrication and welding processes.
Key responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections of sheet metal components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
Conduct visual and dimensional weld inspections per AWS D1.1, ISO, or equivalent welding standards.
Verify weld quality, including size, length, penetration, porosity, cracks, undercut, and overall workmanship.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and weld symbols to ensure product conformity.
Perform in-process inspections during sheet metal fabrication (cutting, bending, stamping, drilling, assembly, etc.).
Inspect surface finishes, powder coating/painting, and other secondary processes
Document inspection results, prepare quality reports, and maintain records.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure inspection tools and gauges are calibrated and properly maintained.
Follow all company safety, ISO 9001, and quality system procedures.
Minium Qualifications:
High school diploma or technical certification required, associate degree in a technical field preferred.
2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a sheet metal fabrication or welding environment.
Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM experience a plus).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, spot welding) and common weld defects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and weld symbols.
Familiarity with AWS D1.1 or similar welding standards; welding inspection certification (CWI, WI) preferred.

Other phases include inspections of raw materials, in-process, and final products. Products and materials are related to switchgear, relay panels, substation enclosers, sheet metal, welding, paint and other components.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Responsibilities:
Performs visual inspections and other specified tests of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to confirm product meets drawings and specifications
Verifies and documents the condition and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies.
Uses observation and testing to identify faults in materials and manufacturing process
Documents inspection results by completing inspection reports, logs, and checklists
Documents corrective action requests and inputs data into corrective action database.
Communicates with supervisor to determine appropriate recommendations and remedies for questions regarding products
Maintain quality records as needed
Keeps inspection and measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; and notifying management when repairs are necessary.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 years' experience of quality inspections in fabrication/manufacturing environment, particularly in welding

POSITION SUMMARY: The
Avionics Technician
is responsible for testing, installing, replacing, or repairing electrical wiring and/or cable on aircraft. This is an experienced-level position that has no direct reports and reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance in the Avionics Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform such typical maintenance functions as cabling, component removal/installation, wire harness removal/installation, fabrication/repair of wire harness assemblies, and continuity checks.
Determine if work can safely be accomplished if aircraft is in a power-on mode and be able to conduct necessary testing if in a power-on mode.
Fabricate and install all wiring assemblies and associated mechanical equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY: The
Quality Control Inspector
is responsible for all inspections performed to ensure compliance to approved data, Federal Aviation Regulations, the RSQCM, and/or data acceptable to the administrator. This is an experienced-level position with no supervisory responsibilities that reports to the Chief Inspector.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures that no defective, unserviceable or un-airworthy parts are used on any components or articles released by Aspire.

Quality Control Inspectors will ensure that quality concerns and items related to airworthiness are addressed and tracked until resolution.
Coordinates with the Inspection Supervisory Personnel to determine daily priorities of required inspection items.
Demonstrates a thorough familiarity with all applicable FARs, company, and customer manuals applicable to their work assignments.
Demonstrates a thorough familiarity with all necessary tooling, inspection aids and techniques to accomplish assigned tasks.
Ensures all maintenance and alterations that are performed by the repair station are in compliance to the applicable technical data.
