    Alaska Marine Lines is looking for a Equipment Control Coordinator to help track and maintain equipment data to support daily operations, customer needs, and accurate billing. This role coordinates with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment availability, reliable reporting, and responsive service. This is a Safety-Sensitive position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Track and bill out monthly rental and demurrage of equipment accurately (special billing/accounts). Manage the invoice reversal page on LShare (auditing to make sure info is accurate). Monthly audit of stagnate equipment. Respond to customer questions, concerns and equipment requirements via phone, e-mail, and fax or in person. Answer e-mails and phone calls regarding equipment (bills, sales, ownership, etc.). Maintain equipment licensing to include preparation of documents to license new equipment, prepare plates and registrations for dealer installs prior to shipment, replace lost plates, files and assist Alaska terminals to complete licensing locally. Prepare documentation and process equipment sales. This includes creating an invoice, bill of sale, taking credit card payments and removing out of the system with proper notes. Perform yard checks to verify equipment availability and locations. Arrange on/off hire and surveys via internet or phone. Carry out all duties with a strong commitment to excellent customer service. Special projects as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
