Job Description With limited supervision, QC Associate I, is responsible for the performance of direct materials testing in accordance with cGMP regulations. These duties include execution of laboratory testing, trend analysis, documentation review, support of discrepancies (OOS, OOT, OOE) and other laboratory support activities. In conjunction with Quality Control leadership, the QC Associate I works to meet departmental and organizational goals. Job Responsibilities: Perform a broad variety of basic and moderately complex tests with documentation according to GMP. Review data and assess against established acceptance criteria. Perform technical review of peer-generated data. Evaluate data to identify trends and/or establish limits. Job Requirements: B.S./B.A. degree and 1-3 years experience or Master's Degree plus one year experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Degrees are preferably in relevant scientific disciplines and experience is in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to organize and present information both formally and informally. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of scientific theories, principles, and techniques used in analytical or biological test procedures. The hiring rate for this position is $27.50 per hour. As a key member of the reporting team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including: Calculate test results using spreadsheets and handwritten forms. As a key member of the reporting team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including: Compiles, analyzes, and reports field data collected from test projects under the supervision of Reporting QC Specialists and Managers. This position works with Project Managers, Field Technicians and other reporting staff to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of test reports and other documents. Write and assemble documents such as test protocols or test reports using templates, following style guides and SOPs. Perform review of draft documents for details like grammar and spelling Communicate regularly with field and reporting staff to ensure test reports are completed in a timely manner Perform all duties with integrity, safety and a professional mentality Understand roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and third-party accreditation standards Communicate all program deficiencies and improvements Report all non-conforming work Promote a positive and inclusive work/team environment Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and good judgement when dealing with sensitive company, personnel and client information Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Bachelor degree in science/engineering or related field preferred High School diploma is acceptable where writing/math/other skills can be demonstrated Technical writing experience beneficial Familiarity with EPA test methods, permits, and regulatory requirements beneficial Field testing experience is beneficial Intermediate user of cloud-based platforms (ex.
