Responsibilities:

About the team and position
An Inventory Associate in IQR is an individual contributor role that has the opportunity to work in the quality and post production work zones. What you'll be doing:
Perform multi-point quality inspections on the interior & exterior of vehicles.

Develop an expert-level knowledge on vehicle quality standards while executing quality checks at a high level.
Use Carvana tools and applications to enter data and track vehicles
Make autonomous decisions on which vehicles will pass the quality check.
Apply Carvana lean manufacturing principles and follow standardized work by adhering to the 5S model.

Summary
Quality Control tech is responsible for all quality checks of equipment before departure of site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Conduct visual and mechanical inspection and dielectric test, and tests on unit to ensure finished product quality and performance.
* Document and report quality assurance issues.
* Assure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and industry requirements.
* Responsible for ensuring the units standard of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.
* Prepare unit for delivery to customer.
* Record data from test procedures and inspections
* Support Quality Control manager on data and documentation of defects to resolve solution of deficiency.
* Able to troubleshoot and repair warranty issues pertaining to the unit.
* Complies with company's safety, quality procedures and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Quality inspection and testing experience (3+ yrs. )
* Knowledge of tools: hand tools and gauges
