Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires working under the 21 CFR part 210/211 standard pharmaceutical cGXP quality system processes.
Microbiology Testing & Analysis
Perform routine microbiological assays, including bioburden testing, microbial limits per USP, and environmental monitoring.
Conduct adventitious agent screening or support external testing as needed.
Prepare media, reagents, and microbiological cultures following SOPs and GMP requirements.
Document results accurately in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Interpret results, identify trends, and escalate out-of-specification (OOS), out-of-trend (OOT), or atypical findings.
Quality Systems & Compliance
Author and revise SOPs, test methods, and other controlled documents.
Support qualification, calibration, and maintenance of microbiology laboratory equipment.
Participate in method qualification/validation and QC readiness for GMP manufacturing.
Assist with deviation investigations, CAPAs, and change controls as needed.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with cGMP, GLP, and company quality policies.
Environmental Monitoring & Facility Support
Perform routine environmental monitoring.
Trend EM data and support investigation of excursions.
Coordinate sample submission to external contract testing labs when required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and external partners to support lot release and overall program timelines.
Provide microbiology subject matter insights to support risk assessments, contamination control strategy, and process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Minimum 6 years of work experience in Quality Control in a regulated (cGXP) organization.
-OR- a PhD in biochemistry, microbiology, or related scientific field plus 2 years of hands-on microbiology experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated laboratory environment.
-OR- a bachelor's or master's degree in biochemistry, microbiology or related scientific field plus 5 years of hands-on microbiology experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated laboratory environment.
Knowledge of relevant cGxP, ISO 9001, and ICH requirements for document control and quality records.

Join us in the exciting role of providing a Construction Quality Control Inspector to provide technical services for the Tahoma National Cemetery at Kent, WA. This role provides comprehensive construction management support for the Tahoma National Cemetery major construction project, which develops 15 of the 36 undeveloped acres remaining at Tahoma National Cemetery, adding an additional 15 years of burial services for eligible veterans in the Puget Sound region of Washington state. The project provides 27,000 gravesites, supporting infrastructure, and a new honor guard building, satellite public restroom, minor repairs, and access roads, parking, and signage.
Work Period:
This position is a full-time position for two years, plus two optional 3-month extensions.
Essential Functions:
Inspections & quality control: Conduct daily site and building inspections; document defects, code violations, improper materials/techniques, and punch list items; observe contractor/subcontractor work for compliance and report findings to the SRE.
Submittals, RFIs & approvals: Review contractor submittals, RFIs, samples, test/inspection reports, and installed work for technical compliance; recommend approval/disapproval and provide written feedback to the SRE.
Schedule, progress & delays: Monitor schedules and daily activities; identify progress delays or slippage and recommend corrective actions to maintain the progress schedule.
Contract changes & payments: Assist with change documentation (estimates, cost reviews, negotiations, change order packages) and review contractor payment requests, cost breakdowns, and quotations for SRE recommendation.
Reporting & recordkeeping: Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports (work, manpower, safety), maintain complete job files, marked up plans/as builts, deficiency logs, photos, and records to support inspections, disputes, and government review.

Materials, testing & commissioning: Maintain inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment; review material samples and cost loadings; coordinate special testing, commissioning, and utility inspections.
Meetings & coordination: Attend/lead project and coordination meetings to resolve issues, manage phasing/traffic interruptions, and liaise with utilities, contractors, and VA representatives.

The Football Quality Control reports to the Head Football Coach and provides support to the offensive, defensive and/or special teams coaches as assigned. This position will have extensive involvement with coaches daily, both collectively and individually. The primary responsibilities will be to provide analysis and data to the head coach and assistant coaches regarding opponents and self-evaluations.
Management: Supervise, train, and manage assistant analysts in editing and cutting film, drawing playbooks, data collection and entry, scouting reports and opponent breakdowns, maintaining various concept boards, and other duties as assigned.
Scouting Reports and Self-Scouts: Collect and analyze extensive practice, game and opponent video for the UW football team. Using independent judgment, identify, determine and break down specific game content, create a detailed description of each play (approximately 75 plays per game), and analyze and define coaching strategies implemented. Using the XOS Game Analysis System, create reports and summaries which reflect the data collected and identify tendencies. Create specific reports that provide a detailed analysis for each coaching staff member and their individual specialty needs. Convey the analysis and results to the specific coaching staff on a weekly basis. This includes pre/post-game, pre/post season and spring season for both the UW and upcoming opponents. Analyze current trends and strategies being implemented across the country and in the NFL. Collaborate with the football video staff to customize XOS displays and results tailored for each coach. Utilize expertise with football specific terminology and strategies, Microsoft Power Point, and analyzing, editing and merging content from PowerPoint into the XOS Game Analysis system.
Game Plans, Tip Sheets, Position Reports: Use data from scouting report analysis and input from coaches to create a game plan and tip sheet that summarizes the opponent and their tendencies and outlines our strategies for that opponent. Create reports that summarize this data by individual positions for the respective coaches. Collect data and make tendency charts during the game that display opponent tendencies. Following the game, provide statistical analysis and review for each coach.
Practice Plans: On the direction of the head coach, create, update and distribute practice plans and scripts on a daily basis for coaches. Attention to detail is critical along with making adjustments swiftly. Oversee the direction, organization, instruction, and supervision of student managers. Meet with the students working to support the focus of the applicable coaching staff daily during the season and spring practice periods. Attention to specific drill structure and equipment needs is essential to the flow of practice.
Production of Playbooks: Create playbooks for the respective specialties utilizing strategies provided by the coaching staff in a multimedia format.
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Head Football Coach and/or the Director of Athletics and are expected to include assisting with on-campus recruiting and recruiting functions, summer camps and high school coach's clinics, and the organization and structure of current UW student "Walk-on Tryouts."
Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree and experience in competitive football, playing, coaching and/or operations at the high school, collegiate or professional level.

Additional Requirements:
Prior experience editing and marking video within the XOS Game Analysis system as well as basic Microsoft Office programs are essential. Experience in dealing successfully with confidential and sensitive information. Must be organized, team-oriented, self-motivated, with excellent communication skills. Must be able to work collaboratively and independently and complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner.

Work Period:
This position is a full-time position for two years, plus two optional 3-month extensions.
Essential Functions:
Inspections & quality control: Conduct daily site and building inspections; document defects, code violations, improper materials/techniques, and punch list items; observe contractor/subcontractor work for compliance and report findings to the SRE.
Submittals, RFIs & approvals: Review contractor submittals, RFIs, samples, test/inspection reports, and installed work for technical compliance; recommend approval/disapproval and provide written feedback to the SRE.
Schedule, progress & delays: Monitor schedules and daily activities; identify progress delays or slippage and recommend corrective actions to maintain the progress schedule.
