    Job DescriptionDescription: The overall purpose of this position is to perform routine, non-routine, quantitative and qualitative oil analysis, essential to operations. Employee will evaluate the chemical and physical properties of raw materials received for production and finished products prior to packaging to ensure that all fluids meet their applicable specifications. Employee will clearly and concisely communicate with the manufacturing department to maximize workflow efficiency and provide corrections for non-compliant material to meet specifications. Employee should have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the science and mathematics field. Other important tasks include, but are not limited to; monitoring of new and used oils to ensure compliance with applicable specifications, interpreting results, preparing documentation for technical support, and following safety protocols as to provide a safe and controlled environment compatible for team-orientated work. Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following. The Company reserves the right to add to, delete, change, or modify the essential duties and responsibilities at any time. All work is to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with Company standards. Other duties may be assigned. Organizes, collates, scans, and archives all daily business records for the Bulk Terminal. Manages and orders lab supplies as needed. As needed, assists warehouse and LSP personnel to accomplish daily operations (this would include assisting with repackaging, unloading trucks and railcars, loading trucks, inventory counts, and customer pick-ups) Maintains Daily Boiler Log. Monitors inventory levels and demand and works with inventory control to ensure product availability. Manage sample retains. Performs QC testing on Lab Equipment. Maintains Laboratory logbooks. Calibrates and maintains all lab equipment as required to ensure proper operation. Performs all testing for inbound and outbound products (tanks, railcars, trucks and additional testing as required). Determines whether product meets specifications and authorizes or rejects product to be shipped, offloaded, or removed from locked status. Manage/Maintain Lab procedures, reviews and updates as required Manage/Maintain Corrective action procedures & Logs Assist BM with oversight, includes Inventory, Equipment, Maintenance, Contractors, Inspections - daily/monthly/annual Backfill for Warehouse personnel when needed, also can assist during periods of overloads - limited depending on training and ability Main POC for ALS for daily transactions, inbounds outbounds, inventory Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Able to handle stressful situations with professionalism. Work Environment: Lab coverage is 24/7 and extends to weekends and holidays. Shift hours are M-Fri 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Indoors; environmentally controlled setting. PPE; primarily including gloves, safety glasses, and/or masks Exposure to forklift traffic, mechanical parts, wet surfaces, low and high noise levels as well as hazardous waste, and chemical exposure. Ability to work in close proximity of, and with other employees of the lab. The successful candidate will manage complex material control processes, ensure system verification, and maintain high-accuracy inventory standards. **Responsibilities** + Provide material control for all equipment, components, and spares. This includes ordering, tracking, receiving, and kitting items for delivery to the field. + Operations include supporting the storage, issuance, and maintenance of material and an active NSA-authorized COMSEC account for Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI). + Serve as the Warranty Manager, tracking Government acceptance/receipt dates against serial numbers and Lowest Replaceable Units (LRU). You must initiate Return for Maintenance Authorizations (RMAs) within 48 clock hours of receipt. + Conduct monthly inventory audits and reconciliations with a required 98% overall accuracy per system at each location. + Ensure delivered items are registered with Unique Item Identifiers (UII) in the IUID Registry in accordance with SECNAVINST 4440.34. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + High School Diploma required.
