Job Description American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) provides technical development and commercialization of domestic, sustainable sourcing of critical battery materials through lithium-ion battery recycling and battery metal extraction technologies for use in batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, and consumer electronics and tools. Our first of kind systems produce commercial-scale battery materials that are sold into the battery manufacturing supply chain. As an R&D Lab Technician, you will work with the Research and Development team on all facets of laboratory operations to support the design and implementation of our proprietary lithium-ion battery recycling processes and primary resource extraction technologies. The ideal candidate will be familiar with good laboratory practice and have experience with reagent preparation, hydrometallurgical processing, writing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and conducting lab-scale experiments. The candidate must be able to conduct experiments while following standard operating procedures in a safe and responsible manner. This position will report to the R&D staff. Requirements Perform tasks needed to maintain good laboratory hygiene, including cleaning of labware, instrumentation, and workspaces. Perform routine laboratory tasks associated with reagent preparation, waste handling, and data management. Writing of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Set up and execute experiments in cooperation with R&D staff. Record, analyze, interpret, and report results clearly and concisely. Work with the R&D team to comply with environmental health/safety and all associated regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering, or a related field Knowledge of both organic and inorganic chemistry principles +1 years of experience in an R&D laboratory setting. Experience in typical laboratory practices including waste handling, safe chemical hygiene practices, reagent preparation, data management, and experimental setup/execution Experience with the calibration of various instruments such as pH /conductivity probes and analytical balances Proficient in performing basic chemical and material balance calculations Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Job Description As a QC Inspector at Rocket EMS, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our high-reliability PCB assemblies adhere to the strictest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting first article inspections, performing in-process audits, and monitoring production quality along the SMT line. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, a solid understanding of IPC standards, and the decisiveness to halt production when quality is jeopardized. Responsibilities Review job documentation (MPI, Deviations, ECOs, and Customer Requirements) prior to inspection. Conduct SMT First Article Inspections and verify compliance with IPC-A-610 (Class 2 and 3) and customer standards. Monitor throughput and quality on assigned lines; halt production if significant defects are identified and escalate issues promptly. Provide daily quality pass-down reports and keep leads/supervisors informed about inspection outcomes.
