Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. Investigating non-compliance test results to assure the substance meets internal and external specifications. Review analytical long-term stability charts to assure laboratory equipment meet fit-for-use criteria. Perform troubleshooting repairs and maintenance activities. Reviewing and updating laboratory documents consistent with Good Laboratory Practices. REQUIREMENTS BA/BS in Chemistry or related degree such as Biochemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics. 0 -1 Years of experience in a production lab environment. Instrumentation experience preferred with tools such as ICP/MS, GC/MS, UV-Vis, GC/FID/TCD, IC, HPLC, GFAA, ICP/OES, or liquid particle counters. Experience using Good Lab Practices. Statistical based software experience preferred. Candidate must be able to multi-task and handle change in priorities. Good communication skills within different functional groups. Must be able to work first or second shift. This includes weekends and holidays as required.
