The Role
The Associate Research Chemist will be responsible for design, develop and commercialization of new semiconductor etchants, post etch selective cleaners and strippers for advanced technology.

Job Description
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Responsible for applied research & development and commercialization of new post etch cleaners and selective etchants for advanced IC technologies.
* Responsibilities include designing, lab testing and managing new chemical products under rigorous business and customer timelines.
* Specific activities include:
* Investigate and develop new chemical formulations for cleaning integrated circuit wafers with awareness of the status of the intellectual property field.
* Perform wet bench formulation and testing of new chemicals to meet customer requirements.
* Manage existing product testing and qualification using customer wafers.
* Support thin film surface analysis using tools including Ellipsometer, 4-Point probe, XRR, XPS, TOF-SIMS, SEM.
* Assist with IP searches and initial patent drafts.
* Assist in pilot line builds of successful beaker formulations.
* Generating and communicating product data and technical reports internally and to customers
* Write and present internal presentation updating technical and business groups on project status.
REQUIREMENTS
* PhD in Chemistry with 1 to 5 years of experience in formulation. Prior industrial research experience in product development in semiconductor technology is highly preferred.
* Experience in developing and applying inorganic or organic solution chemistry to meeting customer requirements. Must be comfortable working safely with hazardous chemicals.
* Understanding Si wafer device processing in wet processing tool operation and process implementation.
* Experience with thin film surface analysis tools such as Ellipsometer, 4-Point probe, XRR, XPS, TOF_SIMS, SEM
* Must have a strong comprehension of surface cleaning methods and chemicals.
* Must be proficient in design of experiments, technical writing, literature search processes and methods and Intellectual property processes and methods.
* Must be a team player and collaborator. Must be able to communicate and work effectively with peers and customers. Organizational skills and prior project management experience desired.

Meet the team:
Performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation. May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays. Full-time Description
Cutter Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control / Floor Inspector to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Station team in Phoenix, AZ. This position is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance, repairs, and alterations meet the highest standards of safety and compliance with FAA regulations. The selected candidate will perform inspections in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65, §121.371, §135.429, §145.155, and §145.157, verifying that all work performed meets applicable regulatory requirements, manufacturer specifications, and Cutter Aviation's quality standards. This role holds the authority to approve articles for return to service in full compliance with FAA regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, components, and parts in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, and Cutter Aviation procedures.
Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring compliance with Title 14 CFR Part 145 and applicable quality standards.
Approve or reject articles for return to service in accordance with §145.157 and company-issued authorizations.
Ensure compliance with the personnel qualification requirements of §121.371, §135.429, and §145.155.
Document all inspection findings accurately and completely in approved maintenance records.
Verify the use of correct technical data, tools, and calibrated equipment during maintenance activities.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel to resolve discrepancies in a timely and compliant manner.
Maintain compliance with all safety policies, quality standards, and applicable FAA regulations.
Assist in internal audits, quality investigations, and corrective action implementation.
Maintain current knowledge of FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and OEM service instructions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Must meet the eligibility requirements of Title 14 CFR Part 65 for Mechanics with Airframe and/or Powerplant ratings.
Must comply with the requirements of §145.155 for inspection personnel.
Must meet the requirements of §145.157 to be authorized to approve an article for return to service.
Must meet the inspection personnel qualification requirements of §121.371 and §135.429, as applicable.
Strong understanding of FAA regulations, technical data, and quality control processes.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and inspection procedures.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance and/or inspection experience in a Part 145 Repair Station, Part 121 or Part 135 operation, or equivalent military/civil aviation environment.
Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections on aircraft, engines, and/or components.
Prior authorization for return-to-service approvals is preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
Additional manufacturer or inspection authorization training is highly desirable (i.e., FAA Inspector Authorization (IA)).
Additional Requirements:
Must successfully pass an initial drug screening and be subject to random testing in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 35 pounds.
Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, and climb ladders as required to perform inspection duties.
Must report to work on time and be prepared to perform assigned tasks.
Must maintain reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must demonstrate professionalism, cooperation, and a positive attitude when interacting with colleagues, management, and customers.
Must consistently exhibit reliability, accountability, and follow-through in completing assigned responsibilities.
Must maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.

Scope:

Essential Job Function:
Be able to complete AS 9102 Reports
Perform Final Inspection on finished product to ensure compliance to customer requirements.
Read customer drawings
Perform measurements with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gages.
Perform rework as appropriate, which may include mask touch-up, material removal with an x-acto knife, burnishing, soldering irons, final finish brush plating, sanding
Verify acceptability of rework after completion
Identify and mark non-conforming product to ensure it is not delivered
Prepare standard and AS9102 First Article Reports as needed
Verify certifications and reports are complete and accurate and can be used for final acceptance and certification of product
Complete Deliverables for Customers and ensure they are complete and accurate
Complete department logs and record yield data as required
Perform preventative maintenance as defined by department maintenance schedule
Support other work areas or departments as required by production or management.
Ability to work overtime as requested
Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements:

Responsible for analyzing raw materials, intermediates, and final products following company processes and procedures.
Investigating non-compliance test results to assure the substance meets internal and external specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must be able to multi-task and handle change in priorities.
Good communication skills within different functional groups.
Must be able to work first or second shift. This includes weekends and holidays as required.
