What You'll Do:
The QC Tech is primarily responsible for performing inspection of raw materials, sub-assembled products, labeling, and finished goods. They coordinate the efficient movement of product through the manufacturing processes and assist in the identification, quarantine, and disposition non-conforming product.
What We're Looking For:
Understands and follows Company SOPs and work instructions.
Observes and promotes Company standards and policies on Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Performs inspection and testing of parts to ensure conformity to Vesta and customer specifications.
Knowledge and understanding of cGMP and GDP, significant figures.
Ensures that the proper equipment, tools, and materials are used as per the manufacturing documents.
Correctly uses and reads basic measuring devices, gauging equipment, and scales to perform inspections.
Records inspection data accurately and in a timely manner on manufacturing documents or in quality systems (as applicable).
Performs sampling using AQL Tables.

Successful completion of 4-years of high school or equivalent
A working knowledge of computers and windows based computer software experience is essential.

Working Conditions:
The physical demand for this job is considered light with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Exposure to lifting more than 25 pounds is rare (if ever).

**Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Job Description** As a Quality Control Technician, you will utilize a range of quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing equipment, UPC scanners, and miscellaneous lab equipment. You will operate programs for Quality and Metrology Test Lab equipment, including torque, CMM, and Vision System Inspection equipment. Your role will involve initiating Quality System documentation, such as Inspections and Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs), and updating statuses via computer or tablet in ERP and QMS Systems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits.
+ Conduct dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials.
+ Navigate a document repository web page to locate inspection reports, blueprints, and other quality documents.
+ Report for Quality or Engineering Builds to support business initiatives.
+ Complete tasks for new packaging, including inspection, documentation, electronic filing, and communication of release or failure.
+ Develop and run gage R&R as needed.
+ Effectively communicate across shifts and weekend work within the team.
+ Facilitate meetings for MRB or other groups as needed to communicate findings.
+ Train Quality Tech B and support Operator instruction on new procedures or techniques.
+ Perform basic shop floor math, such as fraction to decimal conversion, arithmetic and units of measure conversion, basic statistics, analysis of SPC data.
+ Demonstrate problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and manage interruptions.
+ Consciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.

Quality Control tech is responsible for all quality checks of equipment before departure of site.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct visual and mechanical inspection and dielectric test, and tests on unit to ensure finished product quality and performance.
Document and report quality assurance issues.
Assure ongoing compliance with safety, quality, and industry requirements.
Responsible for ensuring the units standard of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.
Prepare unit for delivery to customer.
Record data from test procedures and inspections
Support Quality Control manager on data and documentation of defects to resolve solution of deficiency.
Able to troubleshoot and repair warranty issues pertaining to the unit.
Complies with company's safety, quality procedures and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Shop Mechanic Experience
Knowledge of tools: hand tools and gauges
Computer skills
Knowledge of some hydraulics and electrical wiring
Attention to detail.
Communication skills- verbal and written.
Ability to read and follow customer specifications on finished units.
Knowledge of weights and measurements
High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication skills
Must be self-sufficient.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Ability to complete DOT, ANSI Crane or Bucket and Dielectric tests highly desirable.
Individuals with current crane and bucket certifications are preferred.
Working Conditions
The job is performed under extreme temperature variations and some hazardous conditions.
Must be able to safely operate equipment at heights up to and exceeding 100 feet.
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42”, significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling throughout an 8-12-hour day, and up to 60 hours per week.
Requirements:
Must hold a valid driver's license.
