• Monitor operations production standards - inspect and test products within totes.
• Conduct random tote inspections - monitoring, approving and rechecking totes by confirming order specifications.

Second shift hours are Monday thru Friday from 4 PM - Finish
Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)
- Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and other documents
- Receive, process, check, measure and unload material; place correct labels on bundles with work order numbers
- Examine material for deterioration and defects, and reports findings
- Prepare forms and maintain records dealing with discrepancies and damaged items; process RMA paperwork
- Input material in computer system and assign a location
- Organize return rack, place quality, and damaged materials in predetermined location
- Sort scrap metal and prepare shipments for return to mills
- Ensure receiving and packing lists are faxed to purchasing on a daily basis
- Schedule shuttle truck deliveries to corporate office
- Keep warehouse and work area organized at all times
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Answer telephones, take messages, and provide general information
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Preferred Qualifications / Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize duties; detailed oriented
- Basic math skills
- Read tape measure
- Lift and carry heavy material up to 75 lbs.; climb, crawl, and stoop to reach material; bend at the waist, kneel or crouch for extended periods of time; reach overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally

BASIC PURPOSE
Improve product quality and consistency by conducting checks at receiving, processing and shipping. Facilitate the implementation of the GFSI standard by supporting the FSQA role and operation activities in the plant. Monitor implementation all Food safety, Regulatory and Quality programs within the assigned area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform incoming raw material check, including trailer inspection (cleanliness, temperature, overall conditions), box inspection (intact, undamaged), product appearance & temperature, adherence to product purchasing specifications and weight
Perform outgoing finished product inspection, including reviewing filled orders for accuracy, inspecting box condition prior to shipping, verify product temperature is within acceptable level, inspecting trailers for cleanliness, temperature, satisfactory condition and completion of box label, product content and weight checks.
Perform work in progress QC tasks, including equipment calibration (thermometers, scales, antimicrobial application) and monitoring of metal detector operation, monitoring of aged inventory, order filler checks, CCP verification, daily monitoring of antimicrobial application.
Assist with inventory control. Perform daily steak cutting quality checks, monitor cutting yield.
Perform QC checks on product samples prior to shipment to ensure proper specifications, appearance, packaging and accurate order fulfillment
Conduct employees training when necessary.
Complete and submit regular reports for statistical or operational analysis
Evaluate conditions of returned product for proper disposition
