We monitor our performance against these objectives and require continual improvement. **Location** This position will start on a project in Aiken, SC. **Responsibilities** + Conduct thorough inspections of civil works and concrete structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. + Perform material testing and analysis, including concrete strength tests, slump tests, and other relevant assessments. + Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to quality control plans and procedures. + Identify and document any defects or non-conformities, and work with the construction team to implement corrective actions. + Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents. + Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports on findings. + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality-related issues and provide recommendations for improvement. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the job site. + \#LI-LH1 **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + At least 5 years of experience in quality inspection, with a focus on civil works and concrete. + Certification from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) is preferred. + Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards. + Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment. + Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as needed. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Additional certifications in quality control or construction management. + Experience with large-scale construction projects. + Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
