Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions clearly and accurately in NAI's quality management system. Verify proper soldering quality, component placement, workmanship, and mechanical fitment to meet NAI's aerospace and defense industry requirements. Inspect machined parts, enclosures, for dimensional accuracy and proper assembly. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Review and validate production documentation, including travelers, drawings, and work instructions, for completeness and accuracy. Ensure ESD procedures, inspection protocols, and safety standards are strictly followed throughout the production environment. Support root-cause analysis and assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required. This is a master service with task order contracts for a 15-year contract encompassing a broad range of strategic advisory services, project management, design management, construction management, stakeholder coordination, federal compliance, operations support, office administration, and related services. What You'll Be Doing: * Conduct daily inspections of construction activities, including excavation, concrete work, tunnel lining, utilities, and other structural elements * Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet project specifications and approved submittals. * Prepare quality inspection reports * Collaborate with safety teams to ensure that inspections align with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Coordinate independent testing. * Coordinate contractor, subs and stakeholder field operations. * Enforce safety standards on-site, including adherence to OSHA and other regulatory safety protocols. * Identify potential safety hazards, report violations, and ensure contractors follow site-specific safety plans, especially around large shafts and excavation zones. * Inspect materials and equipment used for excavation and tunneling, checking for compliance with quality standards. * Document and report any deviations or deficiencies, working closely with contractors to address issues promptly to ensure quality throughout the project. * Maintain detailed records of daily work activities, site conditions, and inspection results. * Provide regular reports on progress, any issues encountered, and corrective actions taken, ensuring documentation aligns with project requirements. * Work closely with construction supervisors and engineers to address any concerns that arise during inspection. * Communicate inspection findings and collaborate on solutions to on-site issues, such as unexpected ground conditions or equipment adjustments. The Quality INSEPCTOR position will be responsible for inspection of all incoming raw materials and finished products. Tasks will require use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparator, drawing comparisons and other inspection tools - candidate MUST have experience with relevant equiptment. Report, analyze and trend quality data (i.e. non-conforming material and inspection results). Work directly with suppliers to address quality concerns and assess performance. Responsible for specific quality programs as assigned, other related responsibilities as follows: Ensures company standard practices and cGMP procedures are followed. Issue Batch Records to production and Finished Good inspection records to Operations Maintains SOP binders and updates such through approved Change Controls. Participate in internal and external audit process Inspect and evaluate all incoming components and labeling Inspection and testing of finished goods Authorize release of Quarantined components for production use Responsible for calibration schedules for testing and production equipment PROVIDE SALARY HISTORY TO BE CONSIDERED Qualifications Relevant quality experience along with cGMP and 2 years experience preferred.
