Provided training to Stamping Department personnel as a qualified TWI trainer (Includes but not limited to developing TWI instructional break downs, providing individual training for TWI, documenting & tracking provided training, auditing TWI tasks as indicated by management)
For Start-up ensure that proper documentation and standards are at each press (gauge plan, part drawing, skid tags, skid labels, and standard boards) Perform “Start-Up” inspection using applicable gauge plan, applicable standard boards and past start-up retains. Record all results on Stamping Inspection Report
Maintain “Start-Up Retains Bank” located in the Toolmaker work area. As startups are approved, one raw and one anodized sample from the Start-up will be marked with the approval date and placed in the appropriate bin to be referenced on future start ups
At the beginning of each shift Stamping Q.C. Inspectors will review each press and ensure correct labels, gauge plan, part drawing and correct skid tags are being used
Keep Department QC Stations and/or QC Work Areas orderly at all times. Double check to make sure proper prints, gauging and inspection plans are at each press and in the QC areas as assigned.
Inspect and report inspection results for New Product Development (NPD) by completing the applicable Stamping Quality portion of the First Piece Submission Routing Form
Any other duties that may be assigned, including data entry, QC checks on discrepant materials, production and quality reporting, filing and maintaining paperwork, etc.

Responsible for administering Breeze Airways policies in Quality Control and inspection in a line maintenance environment.
Conduct surveillance and oversight of work performed at line Maintenance locations to ensure Breeze standards and those prescribed by the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) are maintained.
Perform aircraft Required Inspections (RII) as described in company manuals.
Performs Materials Receiving inspections as described in company manuals.
Performs engine Borescopes as described in engineering orders and OEM data.
Performs NDT Inspections as described in engineering orders and OEM data.

Reports to the Manager, Quality Control.
Duties/Responsibilities
Plan and control the application of inspection and quality control methods and procedures to ensure the safe, reliable, and economic performance of Breeze aircraft.
Support the Quality Control Program, including Required Inspection Items and RII Authorized Inspectors as specified in the Breeze Airways GMM.
Support the Receiving Inspection Program, including Receiving Inspection Procedures as specified in the Breeze Airways GMM.
Monitor workmanship and materials to verify that applicable Breeze and FAA regulations and standards are complied with.
Conduct an on-going program to enhance the level of professionalism and state-of-the-art inspection applications within the inspection department.
Administer, and support, and support the NDT program, performance, and workmanship to verify that applicable Breeze and FAA regulations and standards are complied with.
Oversee the establishment and implementation of tool procedures and monitor tooling policies and calibration procedures to ensure tooling meets conformity, equivalency, and all calibration standards.
Develop recommendations for new tools that promote increased tool and equipment availability, reliability, or enhanced maintenance capability.
Support procedures for calibration of tools and equipment based on manufactures recommendations.
Recommend changes to the maintenance program and work specifications, based on recurring discrepant conditions found on Breeze aircraft undergoing maintenance.
Apprise the Manager of Quality Control and Chief Inspector of any issues that may affect safety, quality, or schedule of Breeze aircraft during aircraft maintenance.
Provide leadership and direction to ensure that high standards of performance are maintained in the areas of Quality, Safety.
Maintain compliance with SMS and Company safety policies and procedures as well as Federal Regulations by reporting any safety hazard or potential hazard.
Include SMS in your daily work habits and remain current in the training requirements for SMS.

Perform such other duties as assigned by the Manager. Quality Control and Chief Inspector.
Here's what you'll need to be successful Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
Must hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions
Five years of Aviation Maintenance experience with at least three years in Quality Control/Assurance/Inspection
Understanding and working knowledge of FAR part 43, 65, 91, 121, and 145
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions
Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time
Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed
Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check

Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our 2nd shift maintenance and QC team in Chester, CT. The Maintenance and Quality Control Technician will be accountable for the general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and be responsible for the quality of produced parts.

Essential Functions:
All aspects of maintenance of the assembly lines and quality control.
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Perform advanced troubleshooting to determine necessary repairs.
Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Perform PM (preventative maintenance) on all assembly equipment.
Basic milling and lathe work.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Basic tool repair (grinding, polishing, etc.).
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Use a pallet jack/forklift.
Read and understand engineering drawings (dimensioning and tolerancing).

Perform critical dimension checks on incoming products and raw materials.

Job Description
Kamatics is seeking a Quality Inspector II (Night Shift) who performs basic inspection activities for products and materials, including first piece inspection and in-process monitoring, to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer requirements, and Kamatics quality standards. This role supports production schedules by coordinating inspection activities within the value stream and reporting quality issues to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional inspection of mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerances.
Conduct first piece and in-process inspections within assigned value streams.
Identify surface, dimensional, visual, material, documentation, and workmanship non-conformities against blueprints and quality standards.
Report non-conforming materials or unusual conditions to the Quality Supervisor and cell/value stream leadership.
Use conventional and advanced inspection equipment, including gauges, measuring devices, and CMM tools, to verify conformance to drawing specifications.
Maintain inspection records, data, and logs; create inspection documentation such as IMS records, first article inspections, and related quality forms.
Prepare products and required documentation for customer or source inspections.
Assign and coordinate inspection tasks, as needed, to ensure production schedules are met.
Provide guidance or training to inspectors when required.
Perform all duties in accordance with productivity, quality, and safety expectations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures; report safety incidents promptly.
Make recommendations for improvements to inspection processes, work procedures, and quality practices.
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities within the work area.
Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Participate in cross-training and learning additional roles as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to Value Stream Manager / Senior Team Leader for work assignments and production scheduling.
Reports to Quality Assurance Supervisor for quality-related issues and concerns.
Job Qualifications:Education
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience
Minimum of 2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
Skills:
Proficiency using measuring devices, gauges, and testing instruments.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify small discrepancies, defects, or compliance issues.
Ability to accurately document inspection results and findings.
Ability to analyze inspection data and compare results to specifications and standards.
Solid understanding of advanced shop mathematics.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, operation sheets, and blueprints, including GD&T.
Exposure to Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Basic experience with CMM operation and programming preferred.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems.
Physical Demands
Frequent mental and visual attention.
Frequent walking and standing.
Occasional lifting and moving of materials up to 50 lbs. (15-40%).
Schedule Requirements:
Second shift: 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Includes one hour of mandatory overtime at the start of each shift for a required 45-hour work week
Overtime paid at 1.5x the hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer demands
Flexibility to work varying schedules as required

What You'll Do
Perform in-process and final inspections of rubber parts and finished products
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools
Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements
Identify, document, and report defects and nonconforming material
Work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality issues
Complete inspection records and basic quality documentation
Support continuous improvement, safety, and housekeeping standards on the manufacturing floor
What We're Looking For
2+ years of Quality Control or Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience inspecting rubber, plastics, molded, or similar manufactured products preferred
Ability to read and understand specifications, work instructions, or drawings
Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Basic computer skills for documentation
Dependable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with ISO or internal quality systems
Familiarity with defect analysis or root cause identification
Background in rubber manufacturing, molding, or extrusion
