This position is a second shift position, running from 2 pm - 10:30 pm Monday-Friday. Position Purpose: To conduct Quality Assurance Inspections at all stages of production and to challenge staff & operators to ensure full compliance with the standards. To conduct training and develop the workforce ethos regarding Food Safety & high-quality process delivery. To conduct various tasks in ensuring our standards achieve all our accreditations and customer's expectations. Job Functions: Act as first contact from the production area regarding quality matters. Promoting and enforcing good quality practices and hygiene standards. Conduct quality inspection rounds during the designated shifts - including BBQ & GMP Audits and highlights and corrects any major issues. Random sampling of finished goods pallets in the warehouse. Conduct, where appropriate, testing of materials. Conduct, where appropriate, calibration and verification of equipment. Support the site in containment of faulty material. Accurately sorting Quarantined Product and keeping this area organized Checking/sampling of finished goods pallets in the warehouse if needed Conducting Glass and Brittle Materials audits and publishing results. Conducting and publishing GMP audits, raising and managing non-conformances. Administration of Quality Document requested from Customers. Job Specifications: Previous quality control experience or excellent packaging knowledge. Experience within a manufacturing environment (ideally print and/or packaging). Commercial/cost awareness. Excellent communication skills essential, ability to give clear written and verbal instructions, clearly understand and explain Quality issues to workforce and have good understanding of procedures and processes. Able to identify areas of weakness within processes and customer specific procedures and help find innovative solutions. Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is: To verify property occupancy. To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in an app. Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory. Requirements (to be considered you must have the following): Computer with an internet connection Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas) Smartphone (Android or iPhone) Printer Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour.
