In this position you will perform inspections to include low to medium complexity risk exposures, but not limited to, commercial, industrial, and non-manufacturing locations for the purposes of jurisdictional certification, loss prevention, risk assessment, OnSights and claims investigations. May be utilized for fee service engineering inspections.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years' experience with boilers, UPV, industrial, mechanical and electrical equipment is required Engineering degree (BSME, BSEE or BSChE) may be substituted for practical experience

Physical Requirements:
This position requires a person to routinely move about at a site facility. As such, candidates for this position must be able to perform the below physical requirements:
* Ability to crawl through 11" X 15" openings into confined spaces. Enter and function in very tight confined spaces.
* Ability to climb vertical ladders and several stories of stairs.
* Ability to climb and function at heights of at least 30 feet, and up to eight (8) to ten (10) stories.
* Ability to perform bending, stretching and twisting motions.
* Ability to withstand temperature variations. Temperature variations could be as much as 70 degrees.
* Ability to walk 3-5 miles.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time and able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
* Ability to lift own body weight while hanging or entering a confined space with associated safety equipment
* Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
* Visual acuity of 20/20 (natural or corrected) and identify colors.
* Ability to hear (corrected) the sounds of equipment operation.

Responsibilities
Inspection of both inside and outside of the unit, for any electrical, functional, or fit and finish defects and ensure trailers meet RVIA and Winnebago quality standards.
Examine installation of mechanical equipment, plumbing lines and tanks, and brackets in subassemblies and trailer structures to verify location and fastening.
Responsible for performing required system tests outlined by NFPA 1192
Identify surface defects, such as scratches and cracks. Verify that all graphics are installed and in correct location.
Examine installation of wall coverings and upholstery to verify color, quality, and fit of material.
Write inspection reports.
Assist to resolve day-to-day inspection problems having to do with inspection methods and devices utilized. Correction of deviations and malfunctions.
Verify acceptable quality and communicate reasons for rejects and malfunctions.
Test mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems for functionality, weigh/tag units.
Winterize units when required.
Communicate with Group Leaders regarding quality of units.
Complete any necessary paperwork and close out units when complete.
Any other duties as assigned to promote corporate goals.

Position Summary: The FSQA Technician is responsible for maintaining GFSI-standard, prerequisite programs, food safety programs and quality standards. Perform routine direct observation and /or verification of all other in-process checks to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory and quality requirements.
Perform routine environmental swabbing and pre-operational inspections as defined in the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP).
Perform routine GMP inspections.
Perform laboratory tests for raw materials and finished products as per documented programs.
Perform standard data analysis and provide information to relevant management.
Maintain the sample library by properly organizing and storing samples in accordance with procedures.
Submit samples to third party labs for routine and additional testing or confirmation of test results received.
Review of relevant analytical and pre-shipment documentation and perform product release of finished product as required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Quality checks on production lines in a timely and accurate fashion every hour per line. (Will frequently be responsible for 3 lines at any given time).
Brings discrepancies with the QMS to the attention of Supervisor or Quality Manager. These discrepancies are but not limited to HACCP programs, Allergen programs, Sanitation procedures, GMP findings, Foreign Material findings, and HOLD procedures.
Ensure that product being produced meets all legal and customer requirements as outlined in the Bluebook for each product.
Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion each day.
Perform required tasks to maintain 5-S and keep work areas clean.
Keep all information pertaining to our operations (products, customers, production details, etc.) confidential.
Maintain instrumentation and equipment in good condition and store appropriately.
Label, store, and organize samples and product retentions.
Follow Hold Procedures for all non-conforming materials or product.
Perform HACCP and Preventive Controls checks/tasks as needed.
Assist in test runs and new product trials as needed.
Perform other audits or inspections as required.
Perform other duties as required by supervisor.
Minimal Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Post High School education preferred
Required - 3 months of as a Quality Assurance Technician.
Preferred - 1 years of experience as a QA Technician or other technical department.
Must have good attention to detail and be able to spot defects on fast-moving production lines.
Must be able to gain a basic understanding of how different machinery operates as it relates to the quality of the product and adjustments that need to be made to correct certain conditions.
Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak, write, and comprehend Spanish is a plus.
Must be able to perform simple mathematic calculation, including working with fractions, ratios and percentages.
Must be able to maintain good interpersonal communications and work collaboratively with co-workers, employees from other departments, and superiors.
Experience with MS Office Suite is needed.
Follow all safety processes and procedures set forth by site leadership.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Manufacturing environment - exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
Depending on which location, our environments can be very warm or refrigerated.
Team environment - must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
Must have ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally and stand or sit for lengthy durations.
