OVERVIEW: Conduct quality checks, complete inspection paperwork, and complete lab inspections, throughout production Issue all forms and documentation required for quality process in a timely manner Save and secure all quality documents for easy access and review Provide feedback, input, and support to process improvement projects and engineering projects Requirements: PERFORMANCE METRICS: Check test buttons the morning after they are created Complete lab inspections within 24 hours after delivery to lab Complete incoming inspections within 24 hours of arrival Audit the production area for accurate paperwork, sign-offs, and rejects daily RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES: Major Responsibilities Understanding customer expectations of application and quality requirement of a product Understand engineering drawings and requirements for production Following established quality processes, and use correct quality paperwork Monitoring and evaluating internal production process outcomes Evaluating the final output of products to determine their quality Monitor parts from press production to ensure conformity in final product processing Preparing reports on quality, rejects, and repeat issues Updating and completion of documentation for the ISO 9001 Certification and audit process Create certificates and product reports as needed by sales to provide to customers Engaging with customers and gathering product feedback as requested by sales Reporting to upper management on quality standard issues Complete all lab testing and stamping of products and all other lab duties Complete all FAI, PPAP, and First Production Part documentation using templates ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS Education Preferably some formal technical training in quality or other closely related field Experience One (1) years experience in manufacturing and quality assurance or other significant relevant experience Understanding of ISO 9001 implementation and application, or significant understanding of Quality Processes Skills EXCELLENT ATTENTION TO DETAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!
