Responsible doing refurbishment necessary to bring part to the established appearance standard

Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, packing lists or invoices to route materials
Contact carrier representatives to make shipping arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
Deliver or route materials to appropriate staging area using hand truck, lift truck, forklift, or sorting bins
Requisition and store quality control and shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
Responsible for housekeeping in QC area

Quality control inspector job in Cincinnati, OH
We are hiring and looking for a talented individual with hands-on experience in a QC role for a job shop/manufacturing environment position.
Must have experience with quality inspections, blue prints, in process inspections, first article inspections, final inspections, and much more!
Requirements
Must have 3 yrs + QC experience working in a manufacturing environment
Must have 3+ years of experience with measuring instruments such as micrometers, V-blocks, sine bars, calipers, dial indicators, angle plates, snap gauge, gauge blocks, height gage, level protractors, optical comparators, bore gages, etc.
Faro Arm/Laser experience is highly preferred
Must have very solid GD&T and math aptitude
Must have a great work ethic, collaborative, team player
Must have strong blue print reading skills
Born in US, or INS certificate of naturalization REQUIRED

Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The primary functions include performing visual and dimensional inspection on manufactured products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and print specifications. Scope of duties include routine or repetitive application of standard policies and processes. Inspection and testing for product or production equipment.
Supports and creates effective teams, units and environments through a personal commitment to the company's vision and values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the Major Responsibilities, including the following:
Requires the ability to learn and meet established department specific work instructions and procedures.
Inspects various parts; completed and/or in process products, recording and maintaining quality records, to ensure compliance with all quality requirements.
Work demands a high degree of accuracy and close tolerance inspection.
May be required to understand and demonstrate proficiency in geometric tolerances and must have basic Math skills.
Willingly accepts responsibility of sharing skills and knowledge; trains other employees as needed.
Responsibilities include understanding and knowledge of production/manufacturing inspection processes and procedures.
Understands and meets quality standards. Seeks to minimize reject rate.
Participates in continuous improvement efforts. Supports and helps to implement new ideas.
Possesses the ability to use the computer system for basic departmental functions.
Ability to understand print specifications including, product specifications, equipment dimensions, etc.
Proficient with precision inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers, laser mic, optical comparator, toolmakers scope, Smart Scope, CMM, etc.)
Effectively handles multiple tasks.
Works overtime as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Prefer an Associate Degree in a technical discipline; High School diploma, or GED equivalent required. Prefer one year of work related experience. Full Training will be supplied as necessary.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, operating instructions, work instructions, customer supplied procedures, and routers.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
