YOU As an Associate Quality Lab Technician, you will be responsible for incoming material inspections and testing as well as materials produced in-house. This position will challenge you to work as a team to set, achieve, and maintain goals including daily inspection times. You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and knowledgeable group of people who support and lead quality improvement efforts to ensure that our products have No Equal in our industry. This position will follow a Monday through Thursday schedule from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (% of Time) Inspect incoming materials and parts to ensure vendor quality. Report inspection findings using software programs. Create, revise, or update various spreadsheets and/or electronic records, etc. used to collect information in the lab. (60%) Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes, first piece and final output. Communicate and assist Engineers in resolving non-conformances. (25%) Contribute and participate in various improvement projects within the plant. (10%) Report non-conformances using TQC system and follow through to execution of disposition. (5%) DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Ability to work in a Microsoft software environment including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability to have attention to detail and ensure accuracy of information.     The QC Tech provides data collection and reporting for all manufacturing assembly operations. Associates must accurately record and report this data to operations and provide corrective and containment assistance to the manufacturing team. Note that this role includes a sign on $500 bonus at the completion of 120 Days. Position Summary The Quality Control - Aircraft Inspector is responsible for ensuring all aircraft maintenance, inspections, repairs, and documentation are carried out in strict compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's specifications, customer requirements, and Company standards. This role is critical to maintaining the highest levels of airworthiness, safety, and operational reliability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-progress, and final inspections of aircraft, components, and articles maintained by the Company. Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and Company procedures. Verify that all required maintenance and inspection documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulations. Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Confirm that all maintenance work meets FAA, customer, Company, and manufacturer standards of quality. Complete inspection records in accordance with the Repair Station Manual / Quality Control Manual and applicable customer guidelines. Conduct surveillance of maintenance practices, storage areas, shops, and housekeeping standards, initiating corrective actions as required. Provide constructive feedback to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety. Assist Crew Chiefs and Supervisors in determining the scope of required repairs. Qualifications Minimum 23 years of age. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required. Part 65 Certification and minimum 2 years of aviation experience. 18-months minimum experience with Embraer Regional Jet 135/145 (ERJ) and/or Bombardier CRJ200 (CRJ) required. High school diploma or GED required; advanced training preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel internationally.
