    The QA/QC Superintendent plays a critical role in upholding and enhancing the standards of our products and services. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing and implementing quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Monitor QA QC work progress and report updates to the Project Manager. Troubleshoot field issues and proactively identify solutions to minimize delays. Document inspections, testing results, and corrective actions as required. Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship meet quality and contract standards. Review submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with clients, engineers, and inspectors to resolve quality issues. Support commissioning and turnover documentation. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, craftsmanship, and pride in quality work. Evaluate and qualify suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Conduct supplier audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications. Work closely with procurement teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management detailing project quality performance and areas for improvement. Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices. Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices. Work closely with regulatory agencies during inspections and approvals. Requirements Qualifications Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent field experience will be considered. Experience: 5+ years of electrical construction experience, including supervisory roles. Proven experience with QA/QC processes, testing, and inspections in electrical projects. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and relevant industry standards. Experience with commercial, industrial, or utility-scale electrical installations preferred. Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a preferred. Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Proficient with construction documentation and project management software. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with clients and coworkers. Strong computer skills and experience with basic computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft AX, Microsoft Project, etc.) Working Conditions Work is primarily performed on construction sites and may require travel. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Extended hours, nights, or weekends may be required to meet project schedules. Reports to Site Supervisor/Site Leads Quality Inspector Responsibilities (To include but not limited to the following) Client Relationship & Business Development * The Quality Inspector acts as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. Operations * The Quality Inspector performs quality inspection / quality audits on incoming material using hand gaging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness for use. * Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies. * Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader. * Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material. * Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job. * Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment. Organization & Management * Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source. Technical * MUST be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts and/or sub-assemblies. * Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
