Quality Control Inspector Job 11 miles from Jenks
Job Title: Quality Control Inspector Job Type: Temp to Hire Pay: $18.25-$20.30 per hour (DOE) Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (subject to change based on business needs and weather)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections, tests, and sampling procedures for incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and finished precast concrete products. This role plays a key part in ensuring quality and compliance standards are met throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities
· Conduct and document process and system audits using established procedures.
· Accurately record inspection and testing results.
· Verify correct placement of embedded items and report/document any discrepancies.
· Coordinate the calibration of testing equipment and fixtures.
· Perform fresh and hardened concrete tests.
· Maintain workflow continuity by documenting and communicating irregularities and requirements.
· Adhere to safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Support team productivity by completing related tasks as needed.
Required Knowledge & Skills
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Basic computer proficiency.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to apply mathematical reasoning to testing and analysis tasks.
· Ability to interpret blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to work outdoors in a construction environment.
· Capable of lifting, bending, climbing, stretching, twisting, and reaching.
· Must be able to work in varying weather conditions (heat and cold).
· Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to stand for 8-12 hour shifts.
· Willingness to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays as needed.
· Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
