The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring product quality and compliance within an HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) pipe manufacturing environment. The Quality Control Analyst II is a key technical role, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance of all analytical results that support the release of raw materials, in-process samples, bulk products, stability studies, and finished goods manufactured at Crown Laboratories. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $30-$40 per hour. Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month. Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory. No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
