Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with established TSS quality policy, company standards, customer requirements, and other applicable external (local, state, and federal)
Regulatory standards
Verifies products are assembled in alignment with internal and customer-related standards.
Participate in the development of internal documentation (policies, procedures, forms, etc.) and related training.
Develops customized inspection build documents detailing internal and customer CTQ characteristics for production use.
Audits build documentation to ensure compliance with traveler content and operator completion requirement standards.
Collect standard inspection and audit data for report development per company requirements.

Physical Demands - Office and Manufacturing Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment -
Includes both a typical office environment, with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues, and a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to chemicals used to run/maintain machines.
PPE-
May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump-caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.

Quality Technician 1 Pay: $21.10/hour Shift: Rotating shifts; 7am - 3pm; 3pm - 11pm; 11pm - 7am; rotate every four weeks.
While reporting to the Lab Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality expectations of every customer, both internal and external, are met or exceeded. A go-getter attitude and excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot quality defects. What you will be doing:
Conduct required off-line testing for products to confirm they meet customer specifications.
Accurately enter quality data into customized data sheets and be able to analyze the data for historic trends.
Interacting with machine operators to raise awareness related to defects and record corrective actions when appropriate.
Maintain lab data filing system and physical retention storage.
Able to work as a team and across departments throughout the plant.
Assist in analyzing quality metrics, in-house rejections, process capability data, and customer feedback.
Ensure customer returns are checked in accurately and on time.
Active involvement in quality activities.
Active involvement in at least one safety team.

Job DescriptionQuality Inspector Position: Full TimeSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pay: $18/hour JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, plan and perform a sequence of visual, mechanical and electrical inspections to determine conformity of product material and workmanship to drawings or specifications. REPORTS TO: Plant Quality Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Read and interpret simple sketches, drawings and diagrams. Capable of making mechanical measurement and use simple hand tools or instruments.
Must select proper instruments and apparatus, set up and conduct a sequence of tests and inspections on incoming and internally produced materials, parts, and components.
Will evaluate the product deviation from quality standards and make judgements as to acceptability.
Responsible for overseeing the review, audit, and inspection of product manufactured as well as daily auditing of processes.
Assist with reporting of data. Ensure data is accurately captured and documented. Monitor data for defect trends.
Assist in Quality investigations with interdepartmental teams to help drive improvements for products and processes. Document investigation and results to the extent necessary.
Ensure policies and procedures of company QMS program are consistently met.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Quality Manager.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate.
3 years in manufacturing experience preferred.
Working knowledge of Enterprise 1 Business System preferred.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to perform simple arithmetic problems.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Excel knowledge is preferred.
PHYSICAL:
Frequent long periods of standing or sitting.
Frequent bending and stooping.
Lifting and carrying average to heavy weight (10-50 lbs.) materials or objects.
Occasional pushing and pulling of materials or objects.
Must pass physician administered vision test.
