This role plans and coordinates quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards. Non-exempt role; Reports to Site QC Manager or QC Supervisor; Performs a variety of routine duties within established policies. What is the opportunity? Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, the Quality Technician is responsible for conducting routine inspection of product fabrication throughout the process. Verifying code compliance and overseeing the quality of production at Precision Boilers, from the initial receiving of material to hydrostatic testing and final inspection prior shipping. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned. * Responsible for conducting Incoming Inspection of critical components and materials and perform verification of ASME Code material as applicable. * Performs inspection of incoming goods. documents and reports on inspection results. Notifies warehouse personnel of conforming/ acceptable product for release to inventory. For product OOS issues correspond SCAR and notify Quality Engineer. * Conduct routine inspection and applicable testing at each individual stage of the fabrication process as indicated on the traveler.
