It is the system of record for all realty management data and allows users to manage the realty data for all federally owned and leased buildings. The candidate will participate in various phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Operations & Maintenance, Tier II-III Helpdesk Support, Quality management and optional enhancements that include application design, software testing, and performance improvement investigation and implementation. The program is fast-paced, and business requirements are complex; therefore, the candidate is expected to be proactive, take initiative, be a fast-learner, work independently, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Test critical and complex custom-designed, multi-tier, business applications that use a wide range of the very latest technologies. Contribute to and review System Test Plan Prepare Test Cases with Acceptance Criteria, Test Scripts, and Test Data Execute Test Scripts and document test results. Document detailed steps to reproduce defects found and work collaboratively with the project team to resolve defects found during testing. Daily update assigned tasks in Team Foundation Server (TFS) with completed and remaining hours. Create and assign tasks to self during sprint planning meeting. Update MTM records Review acceptance criteria of user stories Participate in and coordinate Test Script Peer Reviews Attend QC Team Meetings Attend the daily stand-up scrum. Attend sprint planning and retrospect meetings. Ensure satisfactory problem resolution and user satisfaction by coordinating with the Program Manager and/or Quality Assurance/Configuration Manager Provide status reports on state of release testing and other activities. Support automated testing activities, including but not limited to developing test scripts in the automation tool and executing tests and producing test result reports. Escalate risks and issues to management appropriately. Provide application production support and troubleshoot production issues. Write SQL queries to research data, troubleshoot issues in SQL Developer. Basic Qualifications: At least Five (5) year of related IT experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical field, or at least Eight (8) years of related IT experience and no degree requirement Problem-solving, goal-oriented, willing to learn, with good testing skills and logical intuition. Travel to and from each site will be reimbursed. The QA Inspector shall provide inspections to verify that the workmanship, materials, and equipment being installed by the general contractor and their subcontractors meets or exceeds the requirements of the contract drawings and specifications. The QA Inspector is responsible for the inspection of all work performed by the contractors, and for promptly notifying the client Heery Project Manager of any discrepancies. The QA Inspector shall coordinate inspections with the contractors to minimize any impact on construction operations and confirm that critical inspections occur as required. Inspections of critical activities may require that the construction contractor notify the client Heery Project Manager and the Client Project Manager in advance. The QA Inspector is responsible for documenting all inspections, for identifying items that have been satisfactorily inspected, and those which require correction. The QA Inspector is responsible for activities that include, but are not limited to: Inspecting the work daily. Completing Daily Reports to record work inspected and work the contractor is performing that day. If no work is performed, the QA Inspector shall provide a report stating that no work was performed. Notifying the construction contractor and the client Heery Project Manager of discrepancies that are not corrected promptly. Maintaining inspection records. Maintaining an active list of deficiencies and omissions, indicating corrective status. Marking up a set of drawings for major as-built drawings to verify the contractor's official as-built drawings. Reviewing the contractor's as-built drawings for accuracy. Reviewing contract drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and all applicable codes and standards in preparation for upcoming inspections. The QA Inspector shall be aware of all construction elements or activities that require tests, as reflected in the construction contract. The QA Inspector shall develop and monitor a testing schedule and document the following: Verifying that tests are being conducted as scheduled. Witnessing all tests to confirm that proper testing procedures are followed. Monitoring test results for acceptability. Retaining records of tests and results. Documenting testing activities in a report specific to that test. Notifying client Heery Project Manager of test failures and of planned correction and retesting. Overseeing corrective measures arising from test failures. The QA Inspector shall periodically conduct labor interviews of the contractor's workers to verify that workers are classed correctly and are being paid the wages that appear in the effective labor wage rate decision. Interview information shall be captured and submitted on the client's form. At a minimum, Labor Interviews shall be performed on a monthly basis with the completed forms being submitted to the client along with the General Contractor's pay application package. The QA Inspector shall make every effort to interview different construction disciplines, as well as different subcontractors working on the project. The QA Inspector shall also confirm that the construction contractor has posted the required Department of Labor job site postings at the site of construction. By the time the construction project is complete, the QA Inspector shall have conducted interviews of a minimum of 50% of the workers on the project. Labor Rate interviews can be performed on the same personnel over a long duration project. The QA Inspector shall take weekly progress photographs that identify work that has been accomplished since the last set of progress phots. All photos shall be labeled to indicate the project, date taken, and what is being shown. The QA Inspector shall photograph any work that will become hidden / covered up during the course of construction. The QA Inspector shall coordinate the final inspections as scheduled by the contractor with the client Heery Project Manager and the Client. The Deficiencies and Omissions log shall be included in the final inspection report and transmitted to the Client upon completion of the inspection.
