Key Responsibilities
* The Commercial Plumbing Quality Assurance (QA) Representative is responsible for implementing and maintaining the quality management system for commercial plumbing projects. This role ensures that all quality standards and procedures are met and maintained on-site and coordinates with project stakeholders to guarantee compliance with quality objectives.
* Control and distribute all quality documentation for the assigned plumbing project.
* Monitor and oversee all quality-related activities on the project, with a focus on plumbing standards.
* Attend client quality management meetings and represent the project's QA interests.
* Prepare and control project-specific quality system management documentation.
* Oversee the disposition of issued nonconformance reports.

Qualifications

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements (to be considered you must have the following):
Computer with an internet connection
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas)
Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
Printer
Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
Pay and Hours
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $30-$40 per hour.
Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory.
No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.

Position Overview
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for reviewing and evaluating Hybrid-Fiber-Coax (HFC) and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects. Duties include verifying plan designs against new builds, span and drop replacements, risers, aerial installations, bonding and grounding of strand (messenger), proper installation of ADSS self-supporting fiber-optic cable, splice cases and cabinets, splitters and XWDM, underground installations (bores, vaults, and trenches), and MDU lockbox replacements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform site surveys of as-built and proposed projects; complete red-line documentation to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Conduct construction inspections for quality control in accordance with customer's Technical Quality Assurance (TQA) standards.
Maintain accurate records and verify property restoration meets customer standards.
Operate test equipment to confirm optical and RF power levels meet design specifications.
Document (with still images and/or video) that aerial construction, underground vaults, and cabinets are installed per customer requirements.
Prepare work orders to resolve any plant element not meeting specifications.
Communicate construction concerns to the Project Manager or Supervisor.
Perform emergency locates as needed.
Work weekends or second shifts as required by business needs.

Qualifications

2+ years' experience with communications service drops and home installations.
1+ year as a Maintenance Technician or equivalent.

We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Computer with an internet connection

to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the North Port, FL area. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives.
Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
Marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests
Coordinating and managing the lower level inspectors
Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Sets own project deadlines
Provides on the job training to new employees
Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties
Perform daily field inspections and maintains inspection records
Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning
Tracks quality assurance progress
Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education
U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work
Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
