    Overview & Responsibilities Pay is dependent upon experience and will be discussed during the consideration process. Responsible for the quality of concrete produced at the plants within the division. Oversees and designs various concrete mixes to ensure proper mix specifications are used on each other, with special attention to projects requiring unique or one-off specifications. Oversees mix design submittals for projects and contacts Engineer and Architects when specifications do not meet ACI guidelines, obtains approval of mix designs from accrediting agencies, project engineers, etc. Report monthly, mix optimization, deficiency, in mix performance, and number of bids and submittals produced for each division. Maintains all records of materials used in production of concrete, evaluates and tests raw materials in accordance with ASTM standards to ensure minimization of product failure. Tracks raw materials and product performances to help in the prevention of product failure. Minimizes this risk through the development of trend analysis and product performance records. Evaluates product quality and performance to establish Benchmarks for products and raw materials. Takes appropriate actions to correct material failures and implements processes and procedures to prevent future problems. Monitoring and testing concrete performance during the placement phase to clearly-identify concrete performance problems at jobsite/projects. Communicate and coordinate material test results to Tech Services Manager, Area Managers, and material vendors/supplies to ensure timely resolution of material quality-related issues. Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is: To verify property occupancy. To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application. Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant. We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors. Responsibilities Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes. Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned. Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards. Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments. Complete a short form in an app. Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory. Requirements (to be considered you must have the following): Computer with an internet connection Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas) Smartphone (Android or iPhone) Printer Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license Pay and Hours This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $30-$40 per hour. Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month. Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory. No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection. Further information is available at ************************ Position Summary: Perform incoming and outgoing inspections, labeling/marking, handling/storing, packaging and recording procedures of materials, parts and components procured and managed for the Joint Stars TSSR Program. Perform review/research of Material History Records for release of serviceable assets. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Perform inspections of purchased/repaired parts, subassemblies or finished government products according to established guidelines • Identify, inspect, receive and/or reject parts and/or materials as required • Accurately document/record the results of the inspections • Maintain all controlled document files and serviceability records in a timely and accurate manner. Mark, label and package all inspected material in accordance with established standards • Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervisor • Work with Purchasing Department and Quality Assurance to provide feedback to vendors regarding accuracy of repair/purchase order instructions • Perform review/research of Material History Records and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices • Pull material from stock/load material/deliver to customer via company owned vehicles • Willing to work shift that includes weekends and possibility of evening shift (3PM to midnight) Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
