What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas)

Pay and Hours
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $30-$40 per hour.
Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory.
No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.

What You Will Do
This is an amazing opportunity to work on our Quality Team.
This is a Weekend Shift, Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm , Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours, training takes place during the regular 1st shift (4-5 weeks).
Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, Engine Manuals and other pertinent instruction and/or Approved Technical Data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gages and other equipment, accepting material or referring for rework or quality review based on findings.
Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments where work instructions are well defined to check dimensions and record results.
Perform necessary mathematical computations to determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verification of dimensions and make sure that Work Instructions are being followed.
Recognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of measuring equipment used in performing the work as necessary.
Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
Must maintain Inspection stamp.

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

This position will inspect finished goods, incoming and outgoing parts, incoming hardware, and raw materials to ensure specifications are met. A Quality Technician II will assist with parts cleaning and passivation as needed. A key responsibility of this role will be to perform advanced quality inspections and tests on products at various stages of production.
Duties / Responsibilities
Understand and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Perform basic tests and measurements using standard laboratory equipment and tools.
Ensureequipment calibrations are up to date and documented correctly.
Document inspection results by completing reports and logs and inputting data into quality databases and inspection forms; to be updated to Unipoint and future disclosed date.
Assist in the identification and reporting of quality issues or defects to the Quality Manager.
Perform and recordincoming inspections and tests.
Collaborate with the shipping department to ensurerequired documentation(i.e.the Certificateof Conformity, Declaration of Conformity,and/or Inspection Reports)is completed for shipments as necessary
Support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
Performinspections, training, and maintenance on in-house precision measurementsystemsi.e., Keyence, Micro-Vu, etc.
Analyze inspection data toidentifytrends and areas for improvement;assistin developing and updating quality control procedures and training new technicians.
Report out-of-specification findings to the Quality Manager or appropriate party.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) protocol and safety regulations.
Lead small teams in conducting quality checks and ensure proper documentation of findings.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in internal audits and support external audits when needed.
This position may include all responsibilities of lower-level classification(s)-i.e. Quality Technician I-as well as other relevant duties as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications / Training Required
High School diploma or equivalent; technical training and quality assurance experience preferred
2+ years of experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g. calipers, micrometers)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and leadership skills

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements (to be considered you must have the following):
Computer with an internet connection
Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas)
Smartphone (Android or iPhone)
Printer
Pass a standard background check using a valid driver's license
Pay and Hours
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $30-$40 per hour.
Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory.
No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
