HOW DISA NODE ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Review the reporting of the system, trunk and circuit status, including outages, hazardous and degraded conditions in accordance with DISA standards.
Main circuit history files in accordance with DISAC 310-70-1 for each circuit passing through or terminating at the facility to include creating, reviewing and updating Rack Elevations and circuit drawings IAW DISA Circulars.
Maintain operating logs in accordance with DISAC 270-A85-1 and DISAC 310-70-1.
Contractor shall update and consolidate connectivity diagrams utilizing Microsoft VISIO or other software directed by the COR/ACOR.
Monitoring & management systems of all circuits traversing the TCF and PTF, to included monitoring SATCOM links transporting circuits.
Coordinate implementation and installation of new circuits.
Shall coordinate circuit implementation troubleshooting as required; ensure the reports are submitted in accordance with DISA directives when circuits are accepted.
Perform trend analysis in accordance with procedures outlined in DISAC 310-70-1, to be alert to equipment degradation and shall implement corrective measures to preclude system or circuit outages.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Must demonstrate six (6) years' experience performing Technical Control Facility (TCF) operation and maintenance.
Ability to resolve and/or identify complex telecommunication switch and/or multiplexer interface O&M requirements.
Understanding of communications circuits and how they connect/interface to telecommunication systems.
With respect to Technical Control Facilities, demonstrate ability to successfully perform planning, scheduling, and supervision of day-to-day activities of employees such as TCF security, COMSEC (KMI) management, and contingency/emergency planning (e.g. natural disasters, civil disturbances, power outages, and bomb threats).
Active TS/SCI clearance
Experience in telecommunication, network operations, or technical support roles.
Experience with DoD regulations, policies, and operational procedures.
DoD 8570 Compliance (required).

* Inspect varieties of finished products to ensure conformance with FAA/EASA Part 21 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements

The Aircraft Quality Control Inspector develops and implements quality control and ground safety programs to ensure compliance with contract specifications. Inspects and verifies proper completion and documentation of safety and flight discrepancies. Briefs and debriefs pilots and crew members assigned to functional check flights. Evaluates Contractor personnel, including verification of skills, training and experience. Performs audits and inspections of work centers and ongoing maintenance actions, procedures, equipment and facilities. Examines parts and components for conformance to design specification and determines serviceability.
Determines if parts/components are serviceable, unserviceable-reparable, unserviceable-non-reparable; affixes completed appropriate form/tag for disposition; returns to stock, and routes to appropriate shop for repair and/or turn-in. Form/tag shall contain comment relative to evaluation and be stamped by the Inspector. Monitors timeliness and applicability of aircraft maintenance technical data and technical library. Reviews maintenance source documents, aircraft inspection records, notes recurring discrepancies or trends and
initiates appropriate action. Manages the material deficiency and technical order improvement program. Reviews engineering investigation requests. Initiates and reviews quality deficiency reports, technical deficiency reports and hazardous material reports to ensure reports are accurate, clear, concise and comprehensive. Receives and reviews aircraft and explosive mishap reports for applicability. Oversees aircraft weight and balance program. Conducts safety inspections, training, and drills. Efficiently prepares and maintains reports. Performs inspections of egress equipment to ensure compliance with egress mechanics
and inspects cartridge activated devices.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum of three (3) years' experience in the field consistent with the quality assurance requirements contained herein. Must have demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems or other technology as applicable to fabrication, repair, and operation and maintenance requirements. When inspecting egress equipment, must provide documented egress equipment work history to the COR. Capable of reviewing others' work and determining accuracy and conformity to standards.
* Education requirement: High School diploma or GED
* Experience with military rotary aviation preferred
* Top Secret Security Clearance Required. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance.
Security Clearance:
* Position requires the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.
