The Operator - Visual Inspection will work at our client's Manufacturing site in Kenosha County WI, where parenteral products for domestic and international markets are manufactured and packaged. The primary purpose of this role is to safely inspect high-quality pharmaceutical products in accordance with site standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) within controlled facilities.
This position requires operation of various automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment, as well as performance of manual inspections. The operator is responsible for ensuring product quality while demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Adhere to Parenteral Manufacturing safety policies and procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Set up and operate non-aseptic manufacturing processes, including automated and semi-automated inspection equipment in controlled facilities.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), cGMP requirements, and safety policies and procedures.
• Accurately document process steps using appropriate batch documentation systems (paper and electronic).
• Participate in department meetings, team-building activities, and training programs.
• Provide input into department SOPs and training materials as needed.
• Maintain accountability for working safely and supporting all site and corporate health and safety goals.
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass a post-offer physical examination
• Must pass an eye exam and not be color blind
• Ability to wear required safety equipment (safety glasses, safety shoes, protective gloves, etc.)
• Ability to work within a shift-based schedule
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as required
Additional Skills / Preferences:
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
• Ability to troubleshoot basic production issues and effectively use tools
• Experience with PMX, MasterControl, Flow-stream, or other electronic batch documentation systems
• Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

Perform a dimensional layout referencing the HellermannTyton drawing
Use SPC software
Record all inspection and test data.
Weigh parts.
Use control plans.
PPAP and PPC testing.
Assist in maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and Environmental certification by supporting: Corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Key contributor of the manufacturing quality assurance organization by performing daily audits of the manufacturing process to ensure all products and processes are abiding by the specifications and standards set by the leadership teams
User of test lab equipment such as tensile/torsion testers, hardness testers, metallurgical equipment (cut/mount/polish, optical and stereo microscopes), and other various test equipment
Operate CMM and VMM measuring machines and user of handheld devices such as calipers, micrometers, height/snap/pin gauges and other various devices to support metrology needs
Initiate Quality System documentation, such as Inspections, Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR's), quality alerts
Contribute to the creation of work instructions
Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material

Participate in gage R&R studies as needed

Job Summary
We're looking for detail-oriented inspectors to help maintain product quality. As a Quality ControlInspector, you'll check components, in-process materials, and finished goods, keep accurate inspection records, submit samples to the lab, and report defects. You'll also have the authority to place materials on hold or halt production if needed.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect materials and products against standards
Record inspection and test data
Submit samples to the lab
Report defects to Production, Shipping, and Quality management
Place materials on hold or release as appropriate
Halt production or shipment if safety or quality issues arise
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all safety and food safety policies
Requirements
High school diploma required; training in industrial quality practices preferred
Basic math skills
Ability to read and follow job orders and specifications
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Experience with inspection tools like calipers preferred
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
Lift/move items 10-50 lbs regularly
Visual acuity for close, distance, color, and depth perception

Quality control inspector job in Kenosha, WI
Job Title: Quality InspectorJob Description We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of specifications and blueprints, and a keen eye for detail to interpret dimensional, physical, functional, and visual requirements.
Responsibilities
* Inspect products for various quality issues and document findings per ISO and FDA requirements within the ERP system.
* Perform part inspections and measure dimensions of incoming, in-process, first piece, and finished workpieces.
* Utilize various precision measuring instruments, including optical comparators, CMM or vision machines, along with templates and fixtures.
* Assist with Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and manage non-conformance issues by collecting data and entering it into spreadsheets and databases.
* Support the disposition of nonconforming products, whether internal or customer returns, through the RMA procedure.
Essential Skills
* 3 years of quality inspection experience.
* Proficiency in ISO standards.
* Experience with CAPA and NCR processes.
* Skilled in using micrometers and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in a medical device manufacturing setting is advantageous.
Work Environment
The position involves working within a medical device manufacturing and office setting. Training will occur on the 1st shift, with a transition to the 2nd shift thereafter. The 1st shift operates from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and the 2nd shift runs from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am. There is potential for overtime, contingent upon workflow, with an expected increase in business that may require additional hours per week.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
