FAL-GTE (Final Assembly Line - Ground Test Engineer) 40 % Delegation from flight test department (IVR): Perform aircraft ground checks after FOT. Prepare the aircraft and test environment for ground tests on all aircraft systems. Document any nonconformity in the Airbus Log Book (ALB) and request a repeat test instruction (RTI) after finalization of the rework. This qualification requires extensive training and will be initiated after the above mentioned Inspector qualification. Perform ground checks; static system tests, APU run, low and high power engine run, low speed taxi and compass swing in accordance with the Production Aircraft Test Manual (PATM). 3. FAA Part 145 Repair Station Inspector 5 % Perform aircraft testing; evaluate / document results of the tests performed and any discrepancies in the Part 145 Work Package of the aircraft.
