Key Responsibilities: Perform ultrasonic testing (shear wave, straight beam, and thickness gauging) in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A, AWS D1.1, ASME, NAVSEA or other applicable codes. Set up and calibrate UT equipment and verify system performance before use. Interpret UT results to detect discontinuities and evaluate indications based on acceptance criteria. Work closely with QA/QC, engineering, and production teams to ensure compliance and resolve quality issues. Maintain UT equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
