Non-Conformance Reporting: Document any test failures or non-conformances, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to support root cause analysis and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions. Quality Standards and Compliance: Ensure all testing activities adhere to relevant industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E, UL 891, IEEE, ANSI), and internal quality management system requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve testing issues, provide feedback on design for testability, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Job DescriptionDay Electro/Mechanical Quality Control Inspector $22.00 + Hourly Carries out inspection activities in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications and procedures in order to verify that the product meets specified requirements. Must be able to effectively use, read and interpret a tape measure. Performs incoming, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of materials and assemblies to determine compliance. Electronically records the results to provide evidence that the product has been inspected, whether accepted or rejected. The Inspector is required to handle any nonconforming product in accordance with established work instructions and other quality system procedures. Must be able to read and interpret Engineering blueprints and Customer specifications. Detail oriented and must have experience with inspection mechanical, electrical, and structural assemblies or installations. Inspection will work closely with Manufacturing to ensure full compliance to Engineering requirements. Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime. Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
