A primary focus of this role is creating and modifying LIMS test plans to support QC activities while adhering to regulatory and data integrity guidelines. The LIMS Coordinator is responsible for tracking and managing laboratory inventories within the LIMS system and to perform and verify daily verification of laboratory data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with GxP standards before submission for review. Essential Functions: * Register samples and input relevant test results, instrument data, and laboratory information into the LIMS system as per QC procedures. * Manage laboratory inventories, ensuring timely replenishment and accurate record-keeping within the LIMS system as well as generate and run standard reports from the LIMS system for Laboratory Resource tracking. * Perform and verify daily verification data for accuracy and completeness before submitting it for review. * Create, troubleshoot and modify LIMS Test, worksheets, and test plans as needed to support QC activities. * Train new peers in LIMS operations, including sample manager and resource modules. * Assist QC personnel with sample registration and label generation using the LIMS software Additional Responsibilities: * Performs other functions as required or assigned. * Hands on to follow compendial (USP/EP/BP/JP) procedures for wet chemical tests. * Must understand and apply cGMP requirements applicable to quality control laboratory. * Follow up on sample status and testing progress within the LIMS system. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize LIMS functionality and workflows.

Program background The Gateway Program is the most urgent infrastructure program in the country - a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark, New Jersey and New York City, the busiest section of the Northeast Corridor (NEC). The first phase of the Gateway Program includes the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP), which includes the construction of a new two-track tunnel under the Hudson River connecting to Penn Station New York as well as the full rehabilitation of the existing 110-year-old North River Tunnel. The Gateway Development Commission (GDC), established through bi-state legislation, is responsible for the financing and development of the Hudson Tunnel Project. As a tri-venture partner with Parsons, Arcadis, and Mace (MPA) is the Delivery Partners (DP)to provide advice, leadership, and support to GDC for the development and implementation of HTP. This is a master service with task order contracts for a 15-year contract encompassing a broad range of strategic advisory services, project management, design management, construction management, stakeholder coordination, federal compliance, operations support, office administration, and related services. What You'll Be Doing: * Conduct daily inspections of construction activities, including excavation, concrete work, tunnel lining, utilities, and other structural elements * Verify materials, equipment, and workmanship meet project specifications and approved submittals. * Prepare quality inspection reports * Collaborate with safety teams to ensure that inspections align with health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Coordinate independent testing. * Coordinate contractor, subs and stakeholder field operations. * Enforce safety standards on-site, including adherence to OSHA and other regulatory safety protocols. * Identify potential safety hazards, report violations, and ensure contractors follow site-specific safety plans, especially around large shafts and excavation zones. * Inspect materials and equipment used for excavation and tunneling, checking for compliance with quality standards. * Document and report any deviations or deficiencies, working closely with contractors to address issues promptly to ensure quality throughout the project. * Maintain detailed records of daily work activities, site conditions, and inspection results. * Provide regular reports on progress, any issues encountered, and corrective actions taken, ensuring documentation aligns with project requirements. * Work closely with construction supervisors and engineers to address any concerns that arise during inspection. * Communicate inspection findings and collaborate on solutions to on-site issues, such as unexpected ground conditions or equipment adjustments.
