    Now hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a Manufacturing & Fabrication company in Cantonment, FL. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on all aspects of instrumentation and electrical control systems and buildings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and company quality expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct in-process and final inspections on: Commercial and industrial electrical control and utility systems (NEC, UL, local codes, customer standards, etc.) Instrumentation installations PLC, Motor Control, and DCS wiring installations Analyzer installations and sample system tubing/piping Metal fabrication, welding, painting, and enclosure/building construction Control panels (electrical & instrumentation) Analyzer systems Power terminal torque inspections Mechanical elements (torque, square, level, etc.) Use test equipment and participate in customer performance testing. Perform leak testing with gases or other methods to verify integrity in industrial analyzer systems. Generate reports for internal and customer use, including discrepancies, corrective actions, and nonconformance. Support UL labeling program execution. Verify proper document control procedures, ensuring correct revision levels on project fabrication packages, drawings, and specifications. Monitor QA department tools and equipment condition. Oversee receiving inspections for all Customer Furnished Material (CFM) and special-order parts. Participate and monitor employee safety programs. Inspect packaging and shipping processes to ensure product quality. REQUIREMENTS: At least 5 years of field experience Experience and knowledge in welding technology, fabrication, electrical control panels, and instrumentation systems is preferred (training can be provided by CCS). Familiarity with blueprints for mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical systems. Understanding of electrical installation requirements and procedures, quality standards for I/E installations, and ability to interpret customer-supplied drawings and specifications. Comfortable using computers, iPads, and test equipment (e.g., multimeters, gauges, measuring devices). Proficient in Microsoft Office products; ability to learn Procore (project management software). Ability to understand and execute test procedures, perform pressure testing, power up electrical/instrumentation systems, and verify HVAC/ventilation systems (training available). Knowledge of proper shipping and packaging requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as an apprentice to learn the quality programs, services, functions, and activities of Paradigm. Responsible for assisting the Quality Department Staff in quality and compliance measures for all parachute manufacturing. With direct oversight from the Quality Supervisor, performs daily duties to utilize precise measuring and test equipment with inspection procedures and techniques to determine if raw materials, WIP and finished goods meet customer requirements. Works directly under the guidance of the Quality Supervisor to perform and sustain all quality and procedural elements of manufacturing necessary for compliance and customer contract regulation and standards. Assists Paradigm Quality staff with duties including reports, facsimiles, copying and filing. Performs daily duties and assignments as assigned by the Quality Supervisor, as well as other members of Management, to learn, and understand quality and compliance requirements in accordance with real company needs, based on current regulations and state-of-the-art product development with specific regard to manufacturing. Performs daily duties and assignments to complete inspection reports, tags and papers. Reports any/all findings regarding the performance of the quality system to the Quality Supervisor for review. MINIMUM of 1-year experience working with computers AND is proficient with Microsoft Office programs. At least 1-Year of Quality Control experience is preferred but NOT required. EDUCATION: High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required. PAY: Starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. (Depending On Experience) SCHEDULE: Full-Time --- All shifts are 12-hr's Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm ALL hours over 40-hrs will be paid at "Time-and-a-half" You are open to work more hours if they are available ***EXPECT to work a MINIMUM of 40-60 hours a week - *** REQUIREMENTS: Must complete a pre-employment background check (having something on your record does NOT eliminate you from this position, we take everything on an individual "case-by-case" basis) Must be able to pass a drug test.
