Utilizing your strong knowledge of electrical theory, the Advanced Quality Inspector will inspect parts, materials, assemblies and equipment for compliance to specified requirements and perform real-time defect evaluation. What you bring to the table:
A High School diploma or the equivalent required; Associate's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical engineering preferred
Minimum of 4 years directly related experience
Conduct visual inspection, electrical or mechanical screening, and physical measurements of mechanical,
electro-mechanical, and electronic parts and materials.
Programming and operation of coordinate measuring machines.
Assist and perform first article and first piece inspections, including complex inspections.
Work with project engineering and Quality Engineering to develop part testing and screening requirements.
J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750 and X-Ray qualification certifications may be required
Solid knowledge of ESD control, workmanship standards, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and statistics and process control techniques

Perform hydrostatic, mechanical and electrical tests and inspections on components and equipment based on standard procedures, and document test results
Troubleshoot, and potentially fix, issues that arise
Upload, configure, debug, and troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) programs and related control logic on equipment

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Quality Control Laboratory Testing Technician
A typical day for the laboratory testing technician includes sample processing, performing quality control checks, and providing overall laboratory support. The technician works with equipment setup for staining and imaging, prepares reagents, manages specimens, and assists with inventory and quality management tasks. The majority of time in this role is spent on three main activities: equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables; and managing slide specimens, including archiving, tracking, and proper storage.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Complete and file quality records including receiving files and non-conforming material reports.
+ Proficiency in working alongside other departments when addressing problems or discrepancies and maintaining detailed records
+ Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders, or other records
+ Experience reading mechanical drawings and able to verify parts dimensions against drawing/specification requirements
+ Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
+ Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications
+ Ability to use various measurement devices (e.g., calipers, pin gauges, go/no-go gauges, micrometers, etc.)
+ Excellent mechanical proficiency and keen attention to detail
+ Ability to optimally interpret data and present as information and respond to questions from engineers and other technical staff
+ Ensure that all documents and material received in the incoming inspection are of satisfactory quality
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma required
+ Minimum 2 years' experience in quality control
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
+ Strong communication skills both verbal and written
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals
+ Demonstrated problem solving skills required

A Final Quality Inspector works as a member of the Quality department and supports production on a daily basis. The Quality Inspector has responsibility for process auditing, final inspection on products before delivery to the customer, including, but not limited to, CVT section builds, CT/PT builds, oil processing, and oven controls. Other responsibilities include fluids testing and analysis, and special projects.
**Job Description**
As a QA Inspector you will: Perform magnetic particle inspection of generator and turbine rotors, reporting requirements, steam turbine casings, identification of fusion lines, vane carrier, and blades;
*Perform hot magnetic particle inspection;
*Perform dye penetrant inspection removed blades, retaining rings and faceplates, installed blades, generator dovetails, vane carriers, wedges, and hardware;
*Review safety requirements for Ultrasonic Inspections;
*Perform Ultrasonic Inspection bearings / braze coupons, tenons, blade pins (installed), weld build-up, phased array weld build-up, phased array L-O steeples, flaw depth sizing, retaining ring forging and bar stock;
*Set up and operate hardness testing Equotip, Wilson, and Clark;
*Preform dimensional measurements, makes visual assessment of turbine component;
*Prepare and tracks Non-Conformance Reports;
*Provide detailed report of all inspections.
