Job Duties and Responsibilities: All America Threaded Products is a leading manufacturer of threaded products, we are currently seeking a Quality Technician. This role will report to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, work in process, and finished goods to maintain a high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process. Perform random sampling, batch sampling, and quality spot-checks. Work with production staff and machine operators to determine root cause, corrective actions, and material disposition. Document and communicate quality issues in a clear and timely manner. Coordinate with the appropriate team to reconcile quality issues. Who we are seeking in an applicant: We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. We would prefer direct experience with quality control, but applicants with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Other qualifications include: Working knowledge of external thread dimensions and standards is a plus. Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages) is also a plus. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Experience documenting issues, defects, or errors. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with warehouse and manufacturing safety standards. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and interact in a physically demanding position. Willingness to spend most of the day on your feet on the shop floor. Team player, someone who is ready to lend a hand when available. Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.
