Responsibilities * Perform pre-pour inspection of all forms, reinforcement, steel, and inserts in a timely manner to maintain optimized workflow. * Maintain daily and project production records. * Check and verify all dimensions of cast-in embeds. * Complete daily Quality Control documentation. * Inspect all finished products and document any precast products requiring patching or rework. * Ensure all precast products are correctly marked. * Assist other Quality Control personnel in testing materials and finished products as required. * Maintain plant and yard safety in accordance with the Company Safety Manual under the direction of the Safety Coordinator. Skills & Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED. * 1 - 2+ years of experience in concrete. * Willingness to complete an ACI certification within the first 6 months of employment. * Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. * High coordination and organization skills. * Proficiency in reading a tape measure. * Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally. * Ability to be on your feet all day. Work Environment The work environment involves a leading manufacturer of quality concrete products for various industries. The role requires working 50 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work (not often). The position involves being on your feet all day and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
