Controls or operates machinery or equipment to assist with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps along a production line. May be expected to handle heavy machinery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform manual visual inspection of the final product. Involves individually manipulating each unit in the lot to inspect against a detailed criteria to pass or reject the unit.
Carry out finished product sampling, labeling and packaging by following written procedure and coordinating with other departments.
Occasionally support other operational areas which will include equipment while following strict, detailed instructions.
Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards.
Follow basic mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protection equipment where relevant) to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent or higher.
Documentation of 20/20 near visual acuity or better (i.e. 20/14). No color blindness. Note: near visual acuity cannot be substituted with far visual acuity.
Able to sit or stand for long periods of time, mentally focus on task, and perform repetitive motions with short breaks.
Able to record detailed numerical data legibly and use elementary level math to add and subtract with minimal supervision.
Able to use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate for the type of hazard and exposure potential, including the use of respiratory protection.
Able to communicate safety observations.

The Quality Technician ensures that all compounded products are manufactured in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and also meet all internal specifications. This position is responsible for performing a number of manual and automated quality assurance checks on in-process products and finished goods. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and respond to customer demands in a timely fashion are critical requirements of this position. This position is responsible for working collaboratively with other personnel in the Quality Department to ensure the highest quality product is delivered to the consumer.
Job Activities and Responsibilities:
Collect and send samples of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) for sterility, potency, and endotoxin testing.
Conduct environmental monitoring (e.g., air and surface sampling) in cleanrooms to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform visual inspection of finished drug products.
Maintain incubation schedules of environmental monitoring sample plates and document results in associated reports and batch records.
Maintain accurate and thorough records of all testing and inspections.
Ensure all documentation complies with FDA 503B regulations, USP standards, and internal SOPs.
Review batch records and verify that all procedures were followed correctly.
Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, USP , USP, and other applicable guidelines.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) when non-conformities are identified.
Maintain effective communication and partnership with Operations Management department.
Participate in root cause analysis to find the sources of defects or quality problems.
Ensure that all QC laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Review of draft and executed batch records, release of pharmaceutical products, and QA review and approval of product label proofs.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality control processes and overall product quality.
Provide input on QC methods and assist in the development of new testing procedures as needed.
Assist with SOP training, personnel training and competency assessments for handwashing/garbing and training of quality technicians.
Train other staff members on QC procedures and best practices.
Stay current with new regulations, guidelines, and techniques related to quality control in 503B compounding
Oversight of validation projects (i.e. equipment, facility, methods, and process), deviation investigations, and CAPA and Out of Specifications (OOS) investigations.
Ensure all QC activities comply with FDA 503B requirements and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Prepare and review QC sections of regulatory submissions.
Under the direction of supervisor/lead, document, initiate, and investigate quality events for deviations and noncompliance.
Conduct internal audits and gap analysis of processes, systems, and procedures.
Assist with external, regulatory inspections.
Maintain quality records (equipment calibration and maintenance, training, deviation and noncompliance investigations, environmental monitoring, Certificate of Analysis, clean room certification etc.).
Maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Receive, store, and log in samples for testing analysis.
Participate in investigations into any deviations, out-of-specification results, or product complaints.

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements (to be considered you must have the following):

Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.

Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret grading plans, drawings, and soil/geotechnical reports
Perform field inspections to verify construction quality and compliance with project requirements
Support quality control and documentation activities on substation construction sites
Communicate inspection findings clearly through written reports and verbal updates
Coordinate with construction crews, survey teams, and project management
Utilize surveying equipment including robotic instruments, GPS, and data collectors
Maintain organized inspection records and field documentation
Support continuous improvement of quality and inspection processes
Work from a field office or job site, as required
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of surveying experience using:
Robotic instruments
GPS systems
Data collector instruments
Experience reading and interpreting grading plans and soil reports
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as a self-starter
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills
Proficiency with computers and/or iPad for field documentation and reporting
Ability to work full-time in a field office or active job site environment

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing random inspections in manufacturing departments for in-process and final inspection verification purposes. Performing mini audits throughout the facility to ensure proper identification of raw and finished goods in accordance with the lot traceability and control procedures.
Essential Functions/Duties
Perform all duties with a safety-first mindset
Perform random inspections in manufacturing departments to ensure products are being manufactured correctly according to work orders and drawings provided.
Ensure that each department is inspecting parts properly using gages and instruments available.
Review in-process inspection records and confirm results recorded by machine operators.
Perform mini-audits to ensure lot traceability is maintained throughout the manufacturing process - ensure that every bin or pallet of in-process material always has proper identification back to the work order.
Perform mini audits of raw material to ensure each mill tag displays a label to show that it has been properly inspected prior to use.
Make sure all gages and instruments used in manufacturing processes are in calibration and if not, bring them to the quality lab to bring current.
Work closely with other members of the quality team as well as manufacturing as required to ensure production of high-quality products.
Perform other tasks as instructed by quality manager or quality engineer.
