Job Description: About the Role: Our Cedar Rapids, IA, facility, a manufacturer of quality private label oatmeal, is seeking a Quality Technician II. As Quality Technician II, you will perform complex chemical and physical tests at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate analytical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: * Perform physical and chemical testing on products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. * Make accept/reject decision on incoming raw materials and pre-shipment finished good samples. * Possess a high degree of analytical and instrumentation training, and ability to make independent judgment. * Interact with other departments to communicate testing results. * Conduct routine sampling and auditing of packaging materials and raw ingredients for quality and specification adherence. Initiate corrective actions as needed. * Maintain and update testing procedures in alignment with industry best practices. * Input and manage test results in the Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS) accurately and in a timely manner. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, following all laboratory safety protocols. Important Details: * This is a full-time, on-site role on Night Shift (11 pm to 7 am). Occasional flexibility may be required to support alternate shifts.
