Your contribution

What you will do
Inspects all inbound deliveries to ensure the purchased goods conform to all established product specifications, standards, and grade requirements. This applies the Drive for Results competency.
Performs random organoleptic inspections of inbound goods to assure the quality, grade, and wholesomeness of the product.
Inspects all inbound deliveries for cleanliness and soundness of the transportation vehicle and the absence of cross contamination.
Monitors product temperatures by means of physical probing of goods and observation of time and temperature recording devices.
Verifies the weights and counts of received goods.
Examines all packaging for proper labeling and enforces all packaging and labeling requirements of the FDA, USDA, and USDC.
Monitors products in inventory and storage for quality and safety.
Performs daily sanitation inspections of all applicable facilities and warehouses.
Gathers and organizes all records and documentation to comply with all regulatory requirements.
Monitors all control points, critical control points, and quality control points for each of the food safety and food quality plans for the applicable perishable food facilities.
Monitors store returns to determine if credit is warranted and direct operations as to the disposition of the returned goods.

DOI is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) to conduct and support the investigations of the Inspector General overseeing the New York City Fire Department (FDNY), Department of Sanitation (DSNY), Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC), Emergency Management (NYCEM), and the Conflicts of Interest Board (COIB). Together, these agencies manage a combined annual budget exceeding $4.5 billion and a workforce of more than 28,000 employees. Each plays a vital and distinct role in maintaining the safety, resilience, and integrity of New York City --ranging from emergency response and public safety to essential sanitation services, for-hire vehicle regulation, and ethics enforcement.
Directly reporting to the Deputy Inspectors General for Squad 6 and working closely with Squad leadership, the AIG will be responsible for assisting in the management of the unit. In addition to maintaining a limited caseload, the AIG will directly supervise a team of investigators, helping to plan and execute case strategies and field operations, and providing guidance on written work product. The Assistant Inspector General will also work to enhance/streamline squad operations. This position is ideally suited for a candidate with experience conducting complex investigations and demonstrated leadership in a team setting.
If selected, the candidate will be fingerprinted and undergo a background investigation. In addition, because the position has a law enforcement and/or investigative function, the candidate's consumer credit history will be reviewed during the background investigation, as permitted by NYC Administrative Code 8-107(24)(b)(2)(A).

Minimum Qualifications
1.A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and four years of satisfactory full-time experience in an industrial or governmental agency in the field of investigation, auditing, law enforcement, security, inspections, or in a major operational area of the agency in which the appointment is to be made; or
2.A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; or
3.Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
Preferred Skills
1. A minimum of four years of experience conducting complex investigations (preferably involving procurement, contracting, and/or other white-collar related criminal offenses). At least two years of experience at a law enforcement agency, investigative agency, or investigations and audit firm serving in an investigative role (agent, detective, or equivalent investigative position) required. 2. Demonstrated writing ability, including preparing detailed written reports and memoranda, and experience editing written word product to a high standard. Candidates should be prepared to provide a writing sample. 3. Demonstrated ability to function independently, with minimal supervision, to conduct investigations and balance an active caseload of multiple cases on a short timeline. Possess excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 4. Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion. 5. Experience working with federal, state, and city prosecutors on complex investigations. 6. Strong interpersonal, written, and analytical skills. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills, including V-lookup and pivot tables, bank statement scanning software, and various computer programs. 8. Ability to work well with all levels of staff and management. 9. Demonstrated ethics and sound judgment. 10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) and/or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) is a plus.

Raycap, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Quality Inspector. In this role, the Quality Inspector inspects components, sub-assemblies, and finished products received and/or built internally. Primary Job Responsibilities
Collects quality data as required to derive quality objectives
Executes and maintains comprehensive quality product inspections
Serves as a manufacturing focal point for intelligent analysis of quality issues, determining true root causes, and implementation of permanent corrective and preventive actions
Follows and promotes the use of and implementation of internal quality standards and procedures
Reviews documentation for compliance with quality standards
Inspects First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, fabricated parts, and in-process assemblies and subassemblies, products per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements
Conducts subassembly tests as required to ensure quality products
Uses measuring equipment such as calipers and gauges
Audits and monitors quality requirements in accordance with the company's quality assurance policies and customer specifications
Documents and reports inspection findings, results, and monitors corrective actions to the inspection findings
Regular adherence to performance of applicable procedures in the Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety standards (OHSAS); ensuring processes remain sustainable, suitable, and effective in relation to the position
Continuous assessment of opportunities for improvement and any needed changes to management systems
Qualifications
Hands-on quality and manufacturing experience in an ISO certified environment.
Proficient in MS Office, Access, Outlook, and Adobe programs
Experience with Document Control software
Familiarity with SAP, ISO-9001, knowledge and application of DFx, FMEA, or similar Quality Systems is a plus
