Concorde Battery Corporation is currently looking for a driven candidate to start a career working in the Quality Department as a Quality Control Inspector. The successful candidate will be responsible for in-process and final inspections. The Quality Control Inspector is part of the QA team and is also responsible for general quality related tasks. The Quality Control Inspector reports directly to the Quality Production Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform inspection of materials, processes and final product, per business need.
Generates inspection reports according to AS9100 requirements.
Enter inspection data into systems.
Utilizes inspection tools including calipers, gauges and testing equipment (CMM).
Reads and interprets drawings, procedures and work instructions.
Identifies areas for improvement in inspection processes and coordinates implementation.
Comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training/practices.
Qualifications:
1+ years QA inspection experience using standard inspection tools including calipers, gages, etc. in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of QA requirements, processes, practices and systems.
Demonstrated ability to work in team-based environments.
Ability to read engineering drawings to determine and measure features and tolerances.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Software experience; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Bilingual - English/Spanish

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs works related to online inspection, sanitation inspection, receiving inspection, and other activities related to quality assurance and quality control.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Online Inspection
Conduct online inspections and verify the control parameters according to procedures and instructions for production, filling and packaging process.
Record result of inspection, including weigh-up, filling temperature, packaging material, product code, container closure, etc.
Perform GMP/hygiene inspection based on GMP and hygiene standards. Correct GMP/hygiene violation and report to production supervisor and/or QA Manager.
All jobs shall be conducted timely according to QA/QC work instruction.
Sanitation Inspection
Conduct daily and monthly sanitation inspections, including pre-operation inspection and post-operation inspection.
Perform ATP test and environmental swabbing.
Monitor environmental air quality and inspect employees' hygiene condition.
Record the result of inspection and communicate with Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager.
Receiving Inspection procedures
Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials according to QA/QC work instruction.
Take samples when needed according to the receiving manual
Organize and update Raw Material Manual.
Organize and update receiving records.
Organize and update COA from suppliers
Other tasks
Observe and record nonconforming products / production and promptly communicate with production supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager or designee for immediate action.
Make routine decisions for product holding, production line holding, etc, and verify correction and corrective action and document the incident accordingly.
Calibrate equipments used for inspections and report immediately if the device is malfunction.
Assist Quality Assurance Manager with any tasks related to quality compliance.
Perform other special assignment from the management.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Silvus is seeking a **_Quality Control Inspector_** who will report to the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor on the OQC team. Primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring proper procedures are followed for incoming electronic and mechanical parts and during the manufacturing and testing process. + Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components.
+ Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary.
+ Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies.
+ Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional and visual In-process and finished good inspection on parts/boxes per approved control plans, test methods and customer drawings.
Quality / SPC evaluation when required per site documentation.
Communicate with Machine Technicians, Operators and Production Supervisors inspections/SPC results to operation when defects are detected to ensure process adjustments are made and in an effort to run a consistent quality product.
Review daily NCR reports, SPC charts and quality system documentation.

Responsibilities:
Perform visual and dimensional checks various incoming products (sheet metal, PCBAs or CCAs, Printed Boards or PCBs, Conformal Coating, Labels or markings, Cables, Harnesses; COTS items, and etc.) at various stages (Incoming, RMA, In-process, Final, Shipping, etc.)
Test and or verify products for a variety of characteristics such as functional performance mechanically or electrically, or chemical properties or composition.
Perform First Article Inspection and prepare FAIRs as needed.
Record Inspection findings and generate NCMR's, DCRs' and ERRs' as needed.

Required:
Extensive working knowledge of IPC-A-600, J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620. Prior or current IPC training and/or certification is preferred.

Ability to adjust in fast-paced dynamic operations.
