Administration of the Quality Management System (QMS) outlined in the MMR PQP
Organizational freedom to recognize quality problems and to provide solutions to the problems

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.

Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory.

Perform random visual and dimensional component inspection.

Nature of Work:
Under direct supervision of a Circuit Supervisor and/or Program Manager, the Meat and Poultry Inspector I is responsible for applying the laws, regulations, policies, and inspection methods concerned with antemortem and postmortem inspection and limited meat and poultry processing at commercial processing plants and slaughterhouses. Must complete an intensive training program divided into two components: 1) inspection requirements associated with the slaughter of livestock and poultry; 2) pathogen reduction principles associated with food processing and more complex processing inspections.
Continuation of employment is contingent upon completing the aforementioned training and scoring a minimum of 80% on the tests.
Examples of Work:
Maintain continuing instruction/education and supplementary supervision in the application of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and inspection methods.
Examine heads, viscera, and carcasses of slaughtered meat producing animals for diseased or abnormal conditions. Tag suspect parts for a more thorough inspection and final disposition by a Public Health Veterinarian.
Observe and inspect cutting, boning, and trimming operations; byproducts; handling of viscera; inedible handling; and refrigeration of parts and carcasses.
Observe the removal of localized defects in carcasses and parts; monitor that facility staff is following standard operating procedures for cleaning and disinfecting equipment.
Observe the branding of carcasses passed without restriction; maintain required control over the carcasses and parts passed under restriction or condemned.
Verify that slaughter operations comply with Pathogen Reduction requirements.
Verify pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections at commercial meat and poultry processing plants and slaughterhouses.
Enforce compliance with Sanitation Standard Operational Procedures (SSOP).
Review HACCP plans, records, and supporting documents for compliance with applicable regulations.
Conduct inspections of processing operations, and on a limited basis, review processing formulae, procedures, technologies, ingredients, letters of guarantee, and labels.
Select random product samples for laboratory examination and analysis, both economic and microbiological.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Extensive travel to inspected plants (5 days per week regularly; weekends/holidays infrequently) to perform duties under difficult environmental conditions (heat, high humidity, sharp objects, slippery floors, etc.). Requires the ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time; frequently bend, squat, reach above shoulder level, push, pull, and handle objects, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Duties and Responsibilities of Electrical Quality ControlInspectors (included but not limited to):
Administration of the Quality Management System (QMS) outlined in the MMR PQP
Organizational freedom to recognize quality problems and to provide solutions to the problems
Perform the various periodic project jobsite audits as required
Review provided drawings, specifications, approved RFI's and submittals, etc. for quality requirements
Conduct and record all MMR quality inspection and testing activities on the appropriate Inspection and Test Report's as required
Coordinate ITP audit, hold, monitor, and witness points with client, owner, engineer, etc. PRIOR TO any inspection and /or testing activities
Perform periodic project jobsite audits, surveillances, along with other MMR supporting quality documentation as required
Gather records for quality Turnover Package submission
Attend required and refresher training related to company, vendor, and regulatory compliance
Attend safety training as directed
Must comply with all safety and company rules and regulations
Managing and overseeing QC Inspectors
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
8-10 years' experience in Electrical Quality Control or similar role in Industrial and Heavy Construction
Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
Ability to coordinate a variety of project simultaneously
Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Quality ControlInspector Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Inspect structural steel for plumb, level, and elevation per AISC Codes and Standards.
* Inspect welding and handling of welding materials for compliance with drawings and governing standards.
* Inspect bolted and/or riveted structural connections by fastening materials, faying surfaces, tension, etc.
* Assist in the inspection of materials received on the job site.
* Assist in the inspection of all phases of steel erection, equipment installation, etc.
* Perform on site internal audit to confirm, or establish compliance with AISC, AWS, and company QA/QC Manual.

What is an Occupancy Verification?
Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors. The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.
Responsibilities
Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.
Take 9+ photos of the property with brief comments.
Complete a short form in an app.
Requires being able to spend extended periods of time driving while making numerous stops during the day in the assigned territory.
Requirements (to be considered you must have the following):

Reliable vehicle (good gas mileage is a plus as you will be paying for your own gas)

Pay and Hours
This is a 1099 position. Each inspection has a flat rate. Rates vary based on county and volume. Although you are paid per inspection, you will earn the equivalent of $30-$40 per hour.
Depending on a county and if it is urban or rural you will complete anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month working 2-30 hours per week. Lower volume counties have higher rates and higher volume counties have lower rates. There is no set amount of inspections per month, but the work is consistent month-to-month.
Earn more as you become established, have greater availability to inspect or are willing to cover a larger territory.
No additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection.
