Quality control job description

Quality control is a job that involves making sure products are of the highest quality. The main duties of a quality control job include inspecting products to make sure they meet specifications, testing products to see if they are safe and effective and ensure that processes are followed correctly. Quality control workers also help ensure that companies comply with regulations.
Shifts:
1st shift 7:00am -3:00pm Mon- Friday 2nd shift 3:00 pm-11:00pm Mon-Friday
Requirements:
-Performs daily work assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
-Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Attention to details
- Ability to read and speak the English language well enough to converse with co-workers and employees, and to read receipts and reports.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for the entire shift, fast pace, hand dexterity, must be able to lift up to 15lbs
-physical demands
- Unlimited ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, twist and stretch repeatedly.
-Ability to repeatedly bend, bend, and/or stoop to lift items weighing an average of 50 pounds. each to load/unload wagons, carts, buggies or dollies
-Ability to stand on concrete floor approximately 80 percent of shift

Rate of Pay: $600-$800 Weekly

Quality Inspector Job Summary - $16.00 per hour

Quality Inspectors perform various sorting, inspection, production, and data capture. Quality Inspectors work in partnership with our customers to contain and improve quality issues the most efficient way possible. Quality Inspectors work in manufacturing plants, warehouses or other locations where our customers parts are being produced or stored. Quality Inspector Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Performs various sorting, inspection, production, and data entry
• Reads and follows work instructions, work rules and directions
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area
• Uses inspection, measuring and test equipment as required
• Completes required training classes
• Follows all employee policies and other duties as assigned

Job DescriptionPro Staff in partnership with Shutterfly in Shakopee Minnesota are seeking Quality Control Representatives.

These employees work among our Production and Machine Operators to ensure only the highest level of quality products are going out to the customer and clients. You will conduct internal audits of work in process and finished products to ensure they are meeting our product standards and processes. You will identify a process improvement opportunities based on analysis and monitoring of process control indicators and data. You will then follow up on any corrective action requests an assist in root cause analysis.

We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail. Someone who can communicate efficiently with operators and production management with ongoing updates and issues. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, self motivated, and ability to multitask. If you are a problem solver- this is a great role for you!
We are hiring ALL shifts.

1st 5AM-5PM Monday- Wednesday and every other thursday
2nd 5PM-5AM Monday- Wednesday and every other thursday
3rd 5AM-5PM Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday
4th 5PM-5AM Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday

Pay: $18-$20/hour

This position does require standing for extended periods of time and ability to work out on the manufacturing floor. It is critical to work alongside our operators to be able to catch quality in the moment.

This is a seasonal position.
