Responsibilities: * Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards * Perform continuous uninterrupted visual inspections, with and without magnifying devices. * Participates in gathering statistical data from product and processes * Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro- mechanical assemblies and subassemblies * Visual inspections of soldered assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards, and harness assemblies. * Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items * Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues * Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and tooling * Locate and utilize correct part, assembly, and material specifications or drawings. * Use tolerances and dimensions to required accuracy and precision. * Prepare certifications in accordance with appropriate regulation. * Filing of both hard copy and electronic records * Other responsibilities as assigned * Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
