Essential Functions

Maintains or identifies problems of all visual items at GHS, i.e., ceiling floors, walls, furniture, artwork, equipment, etc. and either repairs or notifies proper craft leader.
Performs complex or difficult maintenance repairs or installations. Investigates delays, solves problems, and ensures timely completion of work.
Performs PM on assigned equipment and records appropriately.
Performs scheduled tests complying with JCAHO, DHEC, and other codes/standards.
Responds to fire alarms and emergency codes at all facilities.
Inspects all outside lighting and reports problems promoting a safe environment.
Assists other maintenance mechanics and crafts as needed on repairs.
Performs work accurately and timely and without close supervision. Documents all work performed in an accurate and timely manner. Available for call-back in emergency situations. Works weekends on a scheduled rotating basis. Observes all safety procedures and ensures proper care in the use of equipment and supplies. Attends departmental education/training meetings with 90% attendance.
Receives in-service training periodically on testing of emergency generators.
Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety Support

Support TPM Teams on implementation of TPM the OC Way
Participates in the Safety and Housekeeping programs asestablished within the plant and
work areas
Participates in continuous improvement events
A good understanding of the process equipment used inthis facility.
Help in minimizing process downtime.
Monitors the specific KPIs required by the job; reactsto upset conditions and escalates
when necessary.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturingprocess, inputs and outputs (i.e.
KMIs in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and staffing).
Understands the needs of the customer and takes action toaddress those needs.
Helps identify process problems and seeks solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
The primary responsibilities of the FuelGuard Service Technician will include (but are not limited to):
Operate and maintain mobile Fuel Filtration equipment (company truck with trailer attached).
Ability to pull 2" hoses full of fluid in lengths of varying from 16' to 50', drop them down 16' or more in a tank and move them around to sweep the bottom of the tank.
Know how to operate electric generators or compressors and pumps.
Ability to pull a STP that consists o f a motor head, up to 16' feed pipe with a Motor to the bottom which weighs approx. 70 lbs. needs to be removed and placed to the side during cleanings. This will be done with a helper.
Effectively analyzes problem situations pertaining to breakdowns of customer equipment and recommends to customer actions necessary to correct situation.

JOB PURPOSE
The Quality Control Inspector establishes direction and adheres to the strategic vision for Palmetto State Armory's Quality Programs and Initiatives. This position will work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor to ensure that we are providing a quality product to our customers, implement changes, and be able to maintain accurate and consistent production.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Production Order verification and documentation to verify incoming product accuracy and quality.
Assist in implementing and improving quality system. Record defects for production corrections.
Inspect firearms of all variations and types to meet production levels.
Must comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Ensure that all workstations are 5s/lean.
Manage constraints to meet production.
Ensure that Inspection materials are restocked at the end of shift.
All other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
1- year Quality experience in a manufacturing production environment
Must be able to multi-task and work quickly.
Excellent Communication/Organizational Skills
Must be willing to learn, adapt, and be flexible.
Possess the ability to implement and manage change.
Strong problem solving/ conflict resolution skills.
Must have strong computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Be personally energetic, positive, and ability to think laterally in order to follow through with reasoned decision making.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an operational warehouse environment. While performing regular duties, this position is exposed to various chemicals and solvents. May require working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. The Quality Control Inspector must be able to work overtime as needed to meet production requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Working conditions include but are not limited to; sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting requirements. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less regularly. Cleaning material and chemicals used regularly.

What you'll learn and achieve:
As the Engineering Technician III, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you:
Responsible for the setup and performance of equipment and instrumentation. Builds and\/or adapts equipment for any given experimental series.
Assembles fuel packages and needed instrumentation following schematics, wiring diagrams, using measuring instruments, and operational instructions. Follows basically defined instrumentation plans and test protocols.
Builds and\/or adapts research test fixtures, equipment or instrumentation to new situations, based on instructions from senior research staff or engineers.
Examines, maintains and repairs instrumentation and learns to the principle of operation for each type of device with necessary supervision\/support. Communicates with researchers during setup and experimentation to ensure proper operation.
Operates designated machines, power tools, heavy equipment and specialized research equipment. Performs routine maintenance and repair of designated test equipment, shop and research facilities area. Performs calibration of test equipment.
Reads and understands specific test standards and testing technology and protocols for scope of responsibility with necessary supervision\/support.
Initiates recommendations for new equipment designs and recommends solutions to observed problems.
Develop and execute operating, maintenance, and testing procedures in accordance with laboratory standards and safety regulations.
Design, modify, and build specialized research equipment and test setups based on project requirements and test specifications.
Prepare material and purchase requisitions; recommend solutions to technical issues encountered during testing or setup.
Communicate with researchers to understand project requirements and discuss testing methods, equipment usage, and preliminary results.
Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and systems used in research and field applications.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and design modifications.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including research staff and technicians.
Ensure compliance with internal safety policies and applicable regulatory standards.
Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and specialized testing equipment.
