About the Role: This is a hands-on technical role supporting a plastics injection molding operation with brand-new molding and automation equipment. The facility is clean, climate-controlled, and led by a tenured leadership team that promotes from within and invests in its people. This is a 3rd shift position for an experienced technician who is relied on when equipment goes down. The role is primarily mechanical and maintenance focused (about 80%) with some work on automated and PLC-controlled equipment (about 20%). Description: The Fuel Quality Technician is responsible for completing fuel quality testing on site (gas stations, convenience stores, facilities that use gasoline or diesel for power) troubleshooting electro-mechanical problems, and performing unscheduled maintenance as well as scheduled maintenance on equipment, based upon customer demand and need. Guardian technicians are always expected to provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner. Previous petroleum service experience is NOT required. Other industries that will be considered include vacuum truck technicians, septic truck technicians, environmental technicians.
