*What you will do:*
- Assists the physician with imaging during diagnosis and treatment of Cardiac Cath lab patients of diverse ages. Ensures quality of imaging and image acquisition, DSA, and hemodynamic monitoring. Ensures radiation safety practices are used for patients and personnel.
· Proficient with aseptic technique and assists physician with scrubbing during procedure. Transport patients to and from the Cath lab. May apply manual pressure to puncture site to obtain hemostasis following procedures.
· Assists with technical utilization of physiologic monitoring/data devices in the Cath lab. Calibrates physiologic and monitoring devices. Prepares appropriate forms to document procedural data. Prepares and maintains physiological data after completion of each procedure.
· Sets up trays for procedures using sterile technique.
· Assists physician with scrubbing during and after procedure.
· Prepares skin and drapes patient for procedure using aseptic technique.
· Acquires supplies needed for procedures and may pass to physician or assistant maintaining sterile technique. Assists in maintaining inventory control.
*Requirements:*
· Completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology and ARRT registry, with a valid Iowa Radiology technologist permit to practice, OR a graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification program OR an Advanced medical training degree (Associate of Science degree or Associate's degree in paramedic, or Allied Health Profession)
· Two years of related experience required.
· Basic Life Support required within 3 months of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
· Basic EKG monitoring class preferred.
· ACLS preferred required within 6 months of hire.
· Mandatory Reporter required within 3 months of hire.

**The Role**

Responsible for all Sample Processing job skills, including, preparing plasma units for freezing, preparing samples of plasma for testing, and preparing plasma units and samples for shipment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers (5%)
Perform all required duties in the area of Sample Processing (including, but not limited to): (95%)
Prepare units for frozen storage.
Collect and store samples from plasma units for testing.
Perform routine maintenance on the freezer including monitoring freezer and refrigerator temperatures and removing ice buildup.
Prepare frozen plasma units and samples for shipping following established protocol.
Organize plasma boxes/documents for scheduled shipments and assist in loading shipments.
Manage supplies, assist management team with inventory control procedures, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.

What Youll Do:
Understand project scope and quality requirements, contract documents, site drawings, manufacturer product data/manuals and company quality plan and standards; ensure project is constructed accordingly
Schedule, conduct, and evaluate various site inspections, quality monitoring, and surveillance of daily and upcoming work
Prepare inspection and test plans; document testing, measurements, inspection reports and other quality reports; maintain necessary quality-related files and compile necessary documents for project turnover to owner
Identify and report non-conforming work, track on non-conformance log, and assist with issuing related reports
Oversee development and review of daily construction reports, field observation reports, punch lists, quality reports, and as-built drawings
Stay abreast of federal, industry and company standards - educate project teams of compliance requirements/changes
Partner with project safety team to determine hazards and identify needs or processes to remedy, proactively eliminate, or minimize hazards
Ensure inspections, observations, and punch list are documented and stored correctly
Monitor project site adherence to company quality plan and standards, propose updates/modifications to management
Utilize virtual and physical mock-ups to establish quality standards and identify lean processes to improve field productivity
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors and internal team members

Coordinate and perform LIMS Change Control process, to include updates to products, specifications, sampling plans, methods and other areas in LabVantage. General Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to the Direct Supervisor, or their designee.
On matters of product acceptance, individuals shall have direct access to the Quality Manager, or their designee, whose decision will be final.
Complies with the requirements and procedures specified in the QA manuals while supporting the goals established by the Value Stream(s) or area assigned.
Works with other departments to determine and resolve nonconformances in a timely fashion.
Interprets applicable process documentation, (i.e., shop order, purchase order, requisition, LSC documentation, prints, etc.) to determine attributes of product to be examined or audited using applicable methods and/or instrumentation.
Operates material handling equipment.
Stores, locates, and pulls material, and performs necessary computer transactions for inventory control and tracking.
Performs other job assignments and responsibilities as directed and/or when specific requirements or workload dictate.
The NQT shall participate in teams to accomplish specific goals of the Value Streams such as throughput, quality, cost of operations, safety, Lean manufacturing, and training.

The NQT shall support the manufacturing processing by:

Performs inspection and audit duties on assemblies as required.
Performing all necessary Quality driven activities within the assigned area.
The NQT shall support the overall goals of the Value Stream Manufacturing Processes including throughput, safety, quality, cost of operations, and training.
The NQT must be proficient in the use of material and dimensional testing equipment.
The NQT shall exhibit solid multi tasking abilities during daily activities.
The NQT shall be responsible for meeting daily production goals.
Educational and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to read and comprehend procedures and processing documentation. Capable of writing legibly when filling out required documentation, perform average calculations, and interpret complicated part drawings.
The NQT will be required to exhibit suitable Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) skills.
Must display natural or corrected vision of 20/22 with both eyes and normal color perception. Must be capable of reading a minimum of Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches on a standard Jaeger test chart.
