The position duties include:
Performing dimensional layouts and aesthetic inspections of prototype & production parts utilizing blue-prints and various gages.
Performing Mechanical Properties testing to ensure metal integrity of extruded aluminum products.
Facilitating calibration of test and measuring equipment.
Performing process audits on a periodic basis.
Successful candidate must be a self-starter with good math skills, basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), ability to demonstrate proficiency using various gages and blue prints with good attention to detail. High School diploma or equivalent required, prior experience in manufacturing quality required, ASQ certification a plus.

The Quality Technician position performs inspection of in-process and finished products, performs a variety of testing techniques, completes and reviews inspection documents, and accepts or rejects material based on customer specifications and guidelines while maintaining traceability and acceptable quality standards. Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
Performs routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, bulk intermediates, and stability samples in accordance with approved SOPs, compendial requirements (USP, EP), and regulatory expectations.
Prepare reagents, standards, and sample solutions with precision, ensuring proper documentation and traceability of materials used in analytical activities.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation including but not limited to HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, viscometers, and other analytical systems.
Execute environmental monitoring activities (where applicable), interpret data trends, and escalate deviations per SOP.
Accurately document all analytical data in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems (e.g. LIMS) in accordance with ALCOA+ data integrity principles and cGMP/GLP guidelines.
Assist in laboratory investigations including OOS, OOT, and atypical results, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Participate in the qualification, verification, and validation of analytical methods, equipment, and laboratory systems under the guidance of senior QC or Validation personnel.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, workflow optimization, and implementation of corrective/preventative actions (CAPA).
Comply with all site-wide safety, EHS, and hazardous material handling requirements; promptly report safety concerns and near misses.

The successful candidate will be able to:
Use AutoCAD, Civil 3d 2016, and similar technical drawing software (actual experience and formal educational training are desirable when available);
Develop and complete engineering drawings, modify drawings to the point of completing many standardized NRCS drawings, modify and develop new drawings when needed;
Interpret these and other construction drawings, explain these interpretations to contractors, landowners, agency personnel, material providers, regulatory personnel, local government Sponsors, Engineers, other Construction Inspectors, and various county and district employees;
Independently download survey data, and produce contour maps/drawings when needed, as well as analyze data to produce profile views and sections views from the surveyed data;
Use and troubleshoot various forms of surveying equipment, self levelling levels, total station equipment, data collectors, GPS total stations, etc;
Independently work with SharePoint sites and other computer systems;
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
Demonstrate a working knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations for construction projects, shall follow these rules and regulations, and shall inform others present what the regulations are, and when they are not being followed;
Travel as a passenger in ATV's and UTVs in the various areas;
Assist with typing, generating, assembling, reviewing, updating, completing, and distributing reports, paper or digital, for inventory, dam assessment, dam inspection, project inspection, quality reviews, progress, and other reports required by any NRCS Program, initiative, database, or policy;
Assist with maintenance, repairs, inspections, licensing and emissions testing of motor vehicles;
Utilize a variety of computer hardware and software applications and small office machines, NRCS business tools and locally developed Excel spreadsheets and Access databases to extract information needed to develop reports, maintain schedules, track work progress, and complete assignments.
